Chapter 1374: A Mysterious Guest
Ye Zhizhou went to the secret room in the basent when Ye Qingkong was finishing up her daily routine.
It was an empty room.
The only thing in the room was a black and white photo of Li Zhiwei.
Ye Zhizhou knelt in front of the photo. He stretched out his hand to caress Li Zhiwei’s face in the photo.
“Zhiwei, I miss you.”

The door of the room opened suddenly. Soone walked up and grabbed Ye Zhizhou by the collar. He shoved him hard against the wall.

The cries sounded especially eerie in the empty room, echoing against the walls of the room.

“Mr. Wales, you’re awake?”
Yan Jun looked at Mr. Wales who had just regained consciousness. He almost wanted to cry out loud in joy.
If Wales did not wake up, Ye Tianxin would be in big trouble.
“Am I in a hospital?”
Wales felt that he had asked a stupid question. He was still in a daze.
He rembered hearing the young lady cheering him on, telling him not to give up.
The young lady was his savior.

Wales tried to move his limbs but felt paralyzed. His wound would hurt whenever he tried to move.
He turned around and looked at Yan Jun. “Where is Ms. Ye?”

He now realized that soone had tried to kill him, but it wasn’t Ye Tianxin.
It was his wife.
“Can you please help to send for my lawyer?”
“Certainly.”
Yan Jun dialed the lawyer’s number according to Wales’ instructions.
The lawyer was waiting at the hospital the minute Wales was admitted to the hospital. He was holding on to his will.
If sothing happened to Wales, Mrs. Wales would benefit the most. She would inherit everything he had.
“Mr. Wales, God has protected you from harm.”
Wales had just had his surgery and was feeling physically weak. He gave brief instructions to his lawyer.
“Please help to draft a divorce agreent. Also, can you go to the police station personally and send for Ms. Ye? She did not do anything wrong. I owed her my life. Rember, you must invite her here with the utmost respect and humility.”
The lawyer left the hospital hurriedly after receiving Wales’ instructions. He did not ask Wales for the reasons for doing what he did.
When Wales was unconscious, the lawyer had asked the doctor about his condition and the surgery.
The doctor gave high praises for the surgery perford by Ye Tianxin. The operation was a success and it saved Wales’ life. The doctor also told him that Ye Tianxin handled the situation very well. He could not nitpick on her.
“How is my husband? Is he awake?”
When Mrs. Wales saw the lawyer leave the hospital room, she rushed up to him. She wanted to know the latest news about Wales’ condition so she could plan her next move.
