Ye Tianxin’s legs were shaking even though she was already sitting in the car.
The composure she had when facing Gu Yancheng had disappeared from her face. Instead, she looked nervous and could not think straight.

Why? What had happened?
Ye Tianxin drove on and on. She did not want to stop. She sped right through the empty roads.
There were fireworks on both sides of the road.

Ye Tianxin had rolled the windows down.
The cold air blew harshly onto her face and ssed up her hair, but it did not bother her one bit.
She ca to a cetery and stopped at an empty carpark. Stumbling out of the car, she walked toward a naless tomb.
She knelt next to it and touched the tombstone. It was as though she was touching her beloved son, Jin.
She sat there quietly, her head resting on the tomb.
The sky was dark yet orange sparks were flying around. In the stillness of the night, the city was wide awake. It was not a peaceful night.
Jin, Mommy misses you very much.
It’s New Year Day today. Mommy will keep you company.

Ye Tianxin felt as if there was a void in her heart where the wind and snow blew right through the hole.
“Tianxin.”
Xie Xuning walked over with a toy in his hand.
He looked at Ye Tianxin in shock. What was she doing there?
“Dad?”
Xie Xuning placed the toy next to the tomb.
“Looks like father and daughter think alike.” Xie Xuning tried to cheer his daughter up.
Ye Tianxin looked up at Xie Xuning with her tear-stained face. She had not stopped crying since she reached the cetery.
“Dad, I miss Jin. When do you think he can co back to ?”
Xie Xuning handed a handkerchief to Ye Tianxin. “Tianxin, didn’t you say that now’s not the right ti?”
“Dad, I received a ssage from Gu Yancheng today. I rushed over to et him, but I regretted it the minute I sat down and faced him. He seed to have changed. He looked a lot more sinister now, no longer the cheerful man I know. He said many strange things too. I wanted to ask if he had been reborn but the words were stuck in my throat. I did not dare to ask that.”
Ye Tianxin cupped her hands on her face. “Dad, what should I do if Gu Yancheng is also reborn?”
Ye Tianxin was worried. After hearing what Gu Yancheng said, she was afraid that there was a Li Qingcang whom she did not know lurking sowhere.
“Dad, I don’t want to lose Qingcang. He is the only light in my dark world. I don’t want to lose him.”
Ye Tianxin had wondered many tis. If she had not t Li Qingcang, she would still be struggling in this world.
She might have beco a ruthless person out for revenge, but it was Li Qingcang who stretched out his hand to save her from the darkness.
He led her out to see the world that was full of hope.
“Tianxin, no matter what Li Qingcang was in his past life, he is with you now. In this lifeti, you are together.”
Ye Tianxin asked nervously, “What if he had a happy family or even a child in his past life? I might have destroyed his happiness. Does that make a thief?”
