Aunt Li’s face darkened when she heard that.

Sotis, it was easier for Aunt Li to speak up to Grandma Li as a daughter. Wu Tong was a daughter-in-law, after all; her status was different from her daughter’s.

Aunt Li raised her voice. “Mom, you’re being unreasonable. Who are you calling an outsider? I may be an outsider, but so is Ying Yii. Besides, you need to be clear about who is in charge in this household. Wu Tong is the head of the house now, not you. Don’t try to stir up trouble here. Look at Dad. He’d rather stay in the mountains for the new year than spend it here with us. I’m sure you know why.”

Wu Tong had always been a good-tempered person and would keep quiet whenever Grandma Li said nasty things about her. However, one should not take advantage of another’s kindness.

Wu Tong felt much better after letting out all of her anger.
Ye Tianxin stretched out her hand and used her fingers to stroke Li Qingcang’s palm. Suddenly, he felt a tingling sensation.
