Zhang Fusheng was montarily stunned, realizing that previous Tai Shang Laojun had lied to him—He clearly said He didn’t know who was guiding the mischievous monkey.
But why did He lie?
If it was Taiqing leading this, then simply admitting it would suffice, especially since even Yang Erlang knew the truth... and it definitely had to be the action of the Taiqing Celestial Lord of Tao and Virtue.
The reason is very simple.
Tai Shang Laojun explained very clearly that it wasn’t until the calamity began that Taiqing was severely injured, and the link with Tai Shang Laojun was severed,
