The proposal hit Shen Jingwei like a block of brick, stunning him to no end.

Yan Renzhong had to tug at his hand to make him snap back from his daze.

"So... What’s your answer?"

"What answer?" Shen Jingwei asked dumbly.

"... I am asking you to marry ."

Shen Jingwei swallowed hard.

I wanted you from the first mont I laid eyes on you.

If we didn’t break up four years ago, we would be celebrating our third wedding anniversary by now.

Yan Renzhong squeezed Shen Jingwei’s hand.

"Just say yes," he softly said. "Because none of us is leaving until you say yes."

Shen Jingwei stared at the man he loved for a long ti before slowly, he nodded in agreent.

"Yes."

In a flash, Yan Renzhong jumped to his feet and pulled Shen Jingwei into an embrace so tight that it knocked all air from Shen Jingwei’s lungs.

"Thank you, Jingbao."

Shen Jingwei grabbed Yan Renzhong’s jaw and kissed him ravenously.

"I gave you a chance to reconsider," he then said with a glare. "You didn’t take it, so that’s on you."

"It is," Yan Renzhong agreed before slipping the exquisite ring down Shen Jingwei’s finger.

"I am willing to bear the consequences of our union, forever."

Once they said everything that they needed to say, their desire for each other took hold, and they fell into another round of kissing.

But when Yan Renzhong’s hand slipped inside Shen Jingwei’s shirt, the latter gave a surprised yelp.

"Wait!!!"

Yan Renzhong gave his fiancé a quizzical look.

"What is it?"

"You can’t!"

"Why not?"

"You are a recovering patient!" Shen Jingwei snapped. "You are supposed to heal, and not engage in so debauched activities!"

"No worries about that."

Shen Jingwei let out another yelp when the ground disappeared beneath his feet and he was lifted into Yan Renzhong’s arms.

"I already received Dr. Kang’s permission to have sex when I t him today."

So that was why he wanted to go alone?

To ask Dr. Kang if he could start having sex???

Shen Jingwei was close to passing out from embarrassnt. He didn’t think that he had the face to et Dr. Kang, ever again.

"We have a long night ahead of us," Yan Renzhong whispered into Shen Jingwei’s ear. "Therefore, you should eat a lot during dinner. You will need all the energy tonight."

Why did it sound like a threat, again?

Yan Renzhong carried Shen Jingwei to a charming little inn nearby and treated him to dinner.

Afterward, unable to contain their lust for each other, they ended up asking for a room.

The door barely closed behind them before the two n fell into a round of passionate kissing.

As soon as they got rid of the pesky clothing on their bodies, they tumbled into the bed and began rubbing their bodies against each other.
