As Shang Ruohai closed in on the row of nominees, the tension in the air was palpable. He could almost feel the nervous energy radiating from each individual.
Their faces were as tight as a drum, and their posture as rigid as a statue.
One could almost hear their internal scream.
Every single nominee offered silent prayers to heaven, hoping to be the lucky recipient of the trophy and bouquet in Shang Ruohai’s hands.

The latter shifted the trophy and bouquet in his hands before offering them to Shen Jingwei.
"Congratulations, Mr. Shen Jingwei from CNC Studio."
The crowd broke into an uproar.
"It’s Shen Jingwei!" One of the MCs cried out. "Congratulations, congratulations Mr. Shen!!!"
Shen Jingwei expelled so air from his lungs. He carefully took the trophy and bouquet from Shang Ruohai.
"Thank you," he said curtly, to which Shang Ruohai responded with an equally curt nod.
Shen Jingwei was urged to the podium, where he was expected to make his speech.
It had to be said that winning the Rising Star category in Kunlun Snow Lotus Award was akin to winning jackpot in a lottery they never bought.
All celebrities with bronze-rimd invitations typically knew to prepare a speech beforehand, just in case he won.
Unfortunately, no one expected Shen Jingwei to win, so no one asked him to prepare a speech.

My na is Shen Jingwei. I am but a nobody, until CNC Studio gave a chance to thrive in one of their dramas, ’Dance Of The Dragons’."
The hall was silent as everyone was utterly captivated by Shen Jingwei, this handso A-List celebrity who just called himself a "nobody".
"I wouldn’t have co this far without my loyal fans’ support," he said. "I thank every each of you for your endless encouragent. I read every letter and keep every gift you gave . Really thank you."

He didn’t even need Wu Jin to win the Best Singer category.
He also did not need to hinder Yan Renzhong from winning the Best Actor category.
