Yan Renzhong arched a brow at Shen Jingwei, whose lips slowly twisted into a mischievous grin.
"Seriously?" Yan Renzhong said. "Are you trying to seduce during the shooting period?"
Shen Jingwei stuck a tongue out at him.
"No fooling around during the shooting period. You simply have to endure it."
Yan Renzhong let out a burst of dry laughter.
He then grabbed Shen Jingwei’s wrist and dragged him into an artificial stone cave nearby.
"Hey...!!!"
As soon as they went deep enough, away from prying eyes, Shen Jingwei was pinned against the wall and kissed until he ran out of air.
"I knew it," Shen Jingwei teased in between kisses. "You have impregnation fetish."
Yan Renzhong chuckled.
"So what, am I not allowed to?"
"You are," Shen Jingwei pointed out. "But whether or not you can impregnate depends on your performance in bed."
And biology, a little voice in Shen Jingwei’s head spoke up.
Oh, screw biology. What they needed was a miracle. A toe dip into ogaverse.
A corner of Yan Renzhong’s lips tugged upward in amusent.
"Whether or not I can impregnate you is up for heaven to decide. On the other hand, I am more than happy to rise to the challenge."
Yan Renzhong grabbed the back of Shen Jingwei’s neck and bit into his nape. Shen Jingwei had to bit into his lip to stifle a moan.
"Mmm... Ahh..."
In the darkness, they could barely make out each other’s silhouettes. Only the sound of their breathing and their pounding hearts filled their ears as they kissed each other again and again.
Sohow, these little intimacies tasted even sweeter after they lay with each other. The more Shen Jingwei got, the greedier he beca.
He captured Yan Renzhong’s lips again and again, begging him wantonly for more love.
"Did anyone see Zhang Fengxi and Xie Jianyu around?" A crew mber’s scream outside the cave was heard.
The two aforentioned actors quickly broke apart.
"You go out first," Yan Renzhong told him.
But when Shen Jingwei moved toward the exit, he was pulled back into Yan Renzhong’s arms again.
"I love you," Yan Renzhong whispered into his ear, causing his earlobe to flush with embarrassnt.
"I love you too," Shen Jingwei replied, butterflies fluttering in his stomach.
Once Shen Jingwei successfully stole out of the artificial cave, he was caught by a make-up artist, who cried bloody murder at his sight.
"Mr. Shen!" She scread in horror. "What happened to your face???"
"..."
His make-up was all sared, all thanks to their uncontained horniness for each other.
"We need to get you back to the preparation room, now!!!"
As Shen Jingwei was dragged away, he watched Yan Renzhong erge from the cave, looking as prim and proper as always.
The man even shot him a grin and waved at him without the tiniest crumb of remorse.
"..."
What the hell?
Did he re-touch his face in the darkness, or what???
That was one skill he needed to master, alright!
The entire day was devoted to capturing the thrilling martial arts competition scenes.
A life-sized match board, strategically placed at the filming location, served as a visual roadmap for the day’s proceedings.
Several matches were prominently marked with red dots, signifying their crucial role in the planned episodes.
These high-profile clashes featured the most prominent participants, most notably Xie Jianyu, Zhang Fengxi, Jiang Muchen, and Wu Shenxia.
Lu Shui was invited to watch the unfolding of the shooting, but she ended up arguing with Director Ma within an hour of her arrival. By chance, they were arguing right outside the preparation room.
"Wouldn’t it be so much better to match Jiang Muchen with Zhang Fengxi?" Director Ma asked. "Jiang Muchen is going to lose anyway, just let Zhang Fengxi whoop his ass for once."
"No," Lu Shui insisted. "I need Jiang Muchen to lose against Fang Jiuyan, and I need that battle to be covered in the episodes."
"But there are so many battles we want to cover! There is this battle between Zhang Fengxi and Wu Shenxia..."
"That is an additional battle you added into the script and I already approved of it. You are not going to eliminate the battle between Jiang Muchen and Fang Jiuyan, otherwise you might as well skip the conversation between Zhang Fengxi and Xie Jianyu afterward."
Director Ma pulled a grimace.
"I did want to skip that part..."
Lu Shui inhaled sharply.
"That conversation is a crucial milestone for Xie Jianyu and Zhang Fengxi’s relationship down the road! You may not skip it! Skip the battle between Zhang Fengxi and Wu Shenxia if you don’t have much slot left."
The producer leaned toward the arguing duo and comnted, "We can’t. According to our recent Weibo survey, our audience is looking forward to see the clash between Zhang Fengxi and Wu Shenxia a lot."
"That is right," one of CNC Studio’s social dia analysts piped up. "In fact, so of your readers complained about not being able to read it, Author."
Lu Shui clicked with her tongue impatiently.
"Either way, I refuse to eliminate important scenes just to make place for the additional battle..."
Shen Jingwei wanted to listen to the end, but he was ushered out of the room instead.
"Quick, Mr. Shen! Your na has been called thrice already! It’s ti to shoot your scene!"
Shen Jingwei shot Lu Shui a sidelong glance. Probably sensing soone looking at him, Lu Shui raised her head and locked gazes with Shen Jingwei. She shot him a broad grin before she dove back into the heated argunt with the production team.
It had been a while since he t the author. Shen Jingwei made a ntal note to greet the author properly later.
Upon arriving at the filming location, the caras imdiately rolled to capture his scenes. The early rounds of the competition featured him facing less formidable opponents. These encounters were condensed into brief, action-packed sequences that showcased Xie Jianyu’s prowess in defeating his adversaries.
Although it seed trivial at first, these scenes took an entire day to shoot, leaving the more prominent battles to the next day.
At the end of the day, everyone congratulated each other on jobs well done.
anwhile, an exciting news was waiting for Shen Jingwei.
