Feng Jietang and Lang Yuxuan sat in the A row, with exactly two empty seats between them. It did not require a genius to guess whom these seats belonged to.

Both Feng Jietang and Lang Yuxuan’s faces darkened considerably when the sa realization dawned on them.

"So," Feng Jietang spoke in a gruff voice. He rose to his feet and narrowed his eyes at Yan Renzhong. "I see that you are still shalessly hanging around Shen Jingwei."

"Feng Jietang," Yan Renzhong breathed out. He took Shen Jingwei’s hand into his and lifted it to his lips for a kiss, sparking the fire of jealousy in Feng Jietang’s heart in an instant.

"Although I know that you like to play the role of a knight in shining armor, shouldn’t you pay more attention to the TPO?"

"What TPO?" Feng Jietang snapped. He closed the distance between them in long strides and pulled Shen Jingwei away from Yan Renzhong.

"Just because Little Shen is too gentle to seek retribution for the emotional damage you caused him, don’t think that I am equally lenient!"

"Behave yourself, Feng Jietang," a cold voice was heard behind them.

Shang Ruohai, dressed in a black suit that accentuated his slender form, walked toward them slowly.

Feng Jietang’s scowl was wiped off his face in an instant.

He disliked Shang Ruohai. Or to be more accurate, he was terrified by Shang Ruohai’s cruel tongue.

Feng Jietang, on the other hand, was never happier to see his elder brother.

"Big Brother!" He cried out, his eyes sparkling like a puppy sighting the most delicious treat in its life.

Feng Jieyun draped an arm around his younger brother and laughed. He scrutinized Shang Ruohai’s dark face and dared to make a comnt, "Shang Ruohai, you have a little scowl on your face. Is everything alright?"

Shang Ruohai responded with a scoff and a roll of his eyes. He then marched back to his seat without losing any more word.

"Little Shen, switch seat with ," Feng Jietang implored. "You don’t have to sit next to this hateful person."

"Oh, no, no, no."

Feng Jieyun clicked with his tongue in disapproval.

"Do not switch seats."

Feng Jietang howled, "Why not???"

"Because, Jietang..."

Feng Jieyun put them in line according to their seating arrangent.

"Here we have JieWei, RenWei, and RenXuan, the top three couples voted by the nationwide audience. This love quadruple is going to spark the fla of competition amongst our loyal fans, and heighten the anticipation to the drama leading to its release!"

The four n gaped at Feng Jieyun, who bead at the round.

"So yes, I need you to sit in this exact arrangent. Please pay attention to the caras all around you. Your interactions, good or bad, will be captured through the lenses. Flaunt the drama all you want, but do not resort into violence."

Feng Jieyun gave his younger brother an encouraging pat on the back and Yan Renzhong an acknowledging nod in passing.

Afterward, he went to sit next to Shang Ruohai, who looked like he just swallowed a live frog.

The four n took their seats as intended.

Feng Jietang leaned closer to Shen Jingwei and whispered, "We only need to endure him during the screening, Little Shen. We don’t have to sit together with him during dinner."

Shen Jingwei nodded once with a placating smile on his lips.

He could hear Lang Yuxuan two seats away from him, speaking intently to Yan Renzhong, "Senior Yan, Senior Feng is just too hateful. Just because he’s head over heels in love with Senior Shen, he expects us to worship the land he walks on. Pffft! Dream on."

Yan Renzhong chuckled.

At 6 PM sharp, the cinema lights were extinguished, and the drama’s opening soundtrack and sequence began playing on the large screen.

Without thinking, Shen Jingwei placed his hands on the armrests flanking him. A soft gasp escaped his lips as warm hands clasped his own on either side.

Neither of the three n dared to look sideways. Their eyes were trained to the large screen before them, but their minds were occupied with entirely other thoughts.

It was not until the ending sequence played out that both n released Shen Jingwei’s hands at almost the sa ti.

Once he regained possession of his hands, Shen Jingwei quickly retracted them.

A thunderous applause was given at the end of the first episode, and the lighting in the cinema was restored.

Shang Ruohai and Feng Jieyun took the stage together.
