Chapter 92: Mom wants to do treatnt in office Part-1

**Amidst the burning sun, in the afternoon Chor Bazar, outer area**

Rohit finally sighed as he bought one more mic.

After his first purchase of a drone from Astra Avionics, he had grown rather more curious about the details and went on a binge search for info about the source.

He figured the handlers wouldn’t give any info unless he bought sothing, so he ended up buying more than needed and managed to get so rare future promises about it.

As he looked back, Chanu was holding all the purchased stuff, stored in polythene bags obediently in both hands. She was clearly exhausted, covered in sweat and a bit tanned, but she still bore her professional smile. For relief, her leather jacket was tied around her waist.

He felt a little bad and took one bag from her, despite her resistance. Since they had been out for so long, he decided to offer her a treat. "Would you like to have sothing? We’ve been out for so long."

Even so, she politely declined, but he pressed on, citing that he too would feel bad if she didn’t join him. So they settled on so fruit juice.

Chanu looked around and spotted one. "How about that sugarcane juice there?"

Rohit gave it a glance and imdiately frowned. It felt unhygienic—the machine was operated in the open without gloves. The old Rohit too had not been fond of it, so he had little idea about it.

The only good side was that it had a wide, faded umbrella casting a desperate patch of shade.

"Is it... safe?" Rohit asked skeptically.

Chanu rolled her eyes. "It will be more than okay, sir... they wash hands. Besides, we definitely need it in this heat."

He laughed. "Fair point. Let’s go."

As they approached, Rohit looked around and saw many won standing in small clothes in the shadows, calling out to bystanders. They were prostitutes.

He imdiately recalled them as similar to the nightlife in Kabukicho, but finding them doing it so shalessly in broad daylight felt peculiar

"What is this place?" he asked, genuinely puzzled.

Chanu glanced around and imdiately furrowed her eyes. She whispered, leaning closer, her tone serious, "Young Master, this is the mouth of GB Road. Those won are pros... in a bad profession, and I strictly suggest you never loiter around here. It can hurt badly to you and your family’s image."

In Japan, prostitution under legal circumstances isn’t considered wrong but rather a transactional business, so he found the contrast quite amusing.

Pressing his chin, he asked, "Bad profession, you say... I wonder what kind of it would be?"

Chanu’s ears turned pink as she felt very embarrassed to just stand there, and now she had to deal with such a shaless young master as part of her job. She pursed her lips and said nothing.

"Alright, alright," Rohit chuckled, giving her a light nudge. "I’m just teasing. I’m not a kid. Let’s grab the drink and move on."

Chanu offered a small, grateful smile. A little teasing she could handle; the location, she could not.

"One glass," Rohit called out. "We’re in a rush."

Chanu blinked. "But sir, you said—"

"It’s fine," Rohit said, pulling two straws from a plastic container. "We can share. Efficient, right?"

Chanu froze.

Rohit raised his eyebrows. "What... you really mind? Oh my bad... I am sorry... should have asked."

Chanu imdiately shook her head, her face flushed as she folded her hands, averting her gaze. "No... no, why would I mind." She bit her nails, adding while stealing a glance, "If it’s you... we can..."

The vendor handed over the glass with a knowing, toothy grin. Rohit dropped the straws in and handed it to Chanu. She took a sip, her eyes glued to the floor.

Suddenly, a white van lurched out of a side alley. Rohit’s blood ran cold. Jayesh.

He didn’t think. He grabbed Chanu, pulling her flush against him to use her body as a shield. "Don’t move," he hissed into her ear. "I saw soone. We need to stay out of sight."

Chanu nodded and stood like a statue, believing him, but Rohit’s hands pinning her made her a little uncomfortable as they were too close to her boobs.

To avoid suspicion, Rohit put the straw in her glass and started to sip it. That made her instantly red. Despite sparring with other male opponents, she had never been close to any other male in her life. She could feel her heart beat faster.

Rohit, unbeknownst to her condition, narrowed his eyes. Jayesh ca out of the van and gave so money to the n who escorted him. But wait a sec—another ambulance van was following it.

As the van passed, he looked frustrated as he kicked a rcedes, perhaps his own, and then made a call.

Afterwards, the Russian blonde following him took the ambulance while he himself sat inside his car with his secretary.

Not willing to waste this chance, Rohit took out his phone and started clicking so photos of him at an angle that highlighted the prostitute area. Then he took another clear picture of the ambulance number, thinking of digging its info later.

He couldn’t help but mutter at his clean snaps, "This is gold... never knew it would co out this cute."

Beside him, Chanu let out a frantic, choked slurp, finishing the juice in one go. She thought he was talking about her.

Then Rohit eyes slid on Chanu. She was red as a tomato with the straw in her mouth.

He took a slow sip from the shared straw, lingering just long enough to make her flinch, then smiled like he’d solved a puzzle.

"Oh, I was talking about the pics. It was quite good. wanna see?.."

She took a glance and saw her crystal-clear pics, taken at a side angle with traffic as background. She averted her eyes, clearly showing her annoyance.

Rohit also pursed his lips, finding it awkward. But he refrained from explaining further, finding it beneath him.

Just then, Ragini’s call connected. Chanu, returning to her professional tone, answered the call and said in a professional tone, "Young Master, it’s ti."

Rohit nodded and decided to pay the bill, but the vendor signalled him to co closer and whispered in his ear, which was barely a whisper, "Sir, I know a room, 500 with AC for an hour. You can give

ten percent commission."

Chanu crunched the plastic glass in her hand as if she had happened to hear it, snatched the other bag from his hand, and went out fuming, "Hurry up... young master."

Rohit gave the vendor a death stare and followed her, scratching the back of his neck. ’Anger is itself a strong emotion’, he thought. ’Should I be just glad she’s invested?’

Inside the car, the journey was rather awkward. It was only after Rohit sent an edited photo of Jayesh’s clear presence that Chanu got the clear picture and exhaled.

She wanted to apologise but she couldn’t. Professionally she had been correct and no boundaries had been broken—then why was she feeling the shackle?

Rohit, on the other hand, could feel so of her inner turmoil and gave her space.

He knew the knot she was feeling was better for him in the long run. The more attached she felt, the more he could rely on her.

Unbothered, he decided to ignore her and focus on arranging the updates Lisa gave. And soon, after a while, they reached the destination.

It was the ’Singhania industrial warehouse’ situated in South Delhi, hrauli market area.

Even from a distance, Rohit could see a continuous line of lorries and cargo trucks moving in and out of the facility, many of them loaded with agricultural produce and dairy supplies. Compared to the chaotic market roads they had just left, the infrastructure here was far better—wide lanes, properly paved concrete, and clearly organized traffic flow.

As they drove closer, Rohit noticed that the compound had multiple designated entry points. Separate gates handled cargo vehicles, employee access, and VIP entry.

Their car was directed toward Gate Number S6, reserved for special visitors.

At the security booth, they were greeted by Secretary Pathak, wearing his usual cheeky smile.

Chanu stayed behind with the car while Pathak escorted Rohit inside, offering him a brief tour of the industrial complex.

The scale of the operation was impressive. Massive quantities of agricultural goods were stored, processed, inspected for quality, and then redistributed to various markets across Delhi. Rohit couldn’t help noticing the efficiency of the place.

The floors were fully cented, surveillance caras were positioned at key points, and the towering grain silos were neatly maintained and guarded. Workers moved crates in systematic rows, forklifts and tractors operating in orderly lines.

Clearly, the Singhanias valued structure and discipline. Speed and precision were embedded not just in their operations but even in the design of the facility itself.

During the tour, Rohit caught a glimpse of Ragini in the distance. She was addressing a group of laborers while wearing a safety helt, security personnel standing nearby.

It was obvious she was busy. That explained why Secretary Pathak had been assigned to accompany him.

After nearly thirty minutes, Rohit was finally led to the office section.

Unlike the bustling industrial floor outside, the administrative wing was quiet and refined. Polished tiles covered the floors, and sleek glass panels ford the walls and doors.

Pathak guided him to the elevator and left after confirming his arrival with the reception.

When Rohit entered the office, he was once again impressed by the interior.

Behind Ragini’s desk stretched a wide panel of shadowy blue glass, overlooking the structured landscape outside—the grid of silos, the dairy wing, and the neatly arranged roads where cargo vehicles constantly moved in and out.

But the view beca even more striking because of her presence.

Ragini sat behind the desk, focused on her laptop, several files neatly stacked beside her. She wore a red embroidered saree, that perfectly captured both elegance and authority. Her blazer lining behind the chair.

Knocking the already closed door, Rohit spoke in a playful tone. "May I co in, Madam?"

Ragini glanced up and nodded with a faint smile. "Co in... just wait a minute."

Her tone sounded casual, but Rohit could clearly sense the exhaustion behind it.

He sat down and leaned back slightly."Take your ti, sweetheart. I don’t mind the view."

Ragini paused at that. She closed the laptop slowly and pushed the files aside with a quiet sigh.

"You do realize what kind of ss I’m managing alone right now."

Rohit rolled his eyes."And yet you called

straight to the office instead of the resort."

She walked around the desk without answering. A mont later she settled onto his lap, pressing a soft kiss to his lips before resting her head against his shoulder.

For a while neither of them spoke. This was her way of complaining.

Rohit wrapped his right arms around her waist, feeling the tension still lingering in her posture.

"What happened?" he murmured. "You sound more tensed."

She didn’t lift her head. but rather picked his left bandaged hand. Grief reflecting in her eyes.

"My father called this morning," she said quietly. "The deal you brought to Singhania is also tied to our family side. And with the Ahuja alliance... it’s becoming sothing bigger."

She exhaled slowly, her hands soflty caressing his wounds. "My father wants

back ho to oversee it personally. They’ll send the flight details soon. I’m trying to tie up the loose ends here."

Rohit gently brushed her right hand. "If it’s unavoidable, then you should go."

Ragini imdiately lifted her head, staring at him.

"And your treatnt?"

A slow smile appeared on Rohit’s face. "So that’s what you’re worried about."

"Well... if my nurse is so concerned about abandoning her patient halfway..." His right arm slipping through her hand to grab her breast.

He leaned closer, voice dropping to a playful whisper. "Perhaps she should administer the next session before leaving."

Ragini studied him for a mont. Then a faint, dangerous smile ford on her red lips.

"Oh?" she murmured, She dropped her pallu, showcasing her supple cleavage.

"Then I suppose we shouldn’t waste ti."
