Chapter 4: Chapter 2 Magic Temple_2 Chapter 4: Chapter 2 Magic Temple_2 Long Dangdang and Long Kongkong exchanged a glance, their eyes communicating in an instant. Just as they were about to do sothing else, they suddenly felt a strange pressure. Turning their heads, they saw a mage dressed in a red mage’s robe walking towards them. This invisible pressure was emanating from him.

“Are these the two children who are here for the test? Co with .” The mage in the red robe nodded to Hu Na.

By now, Hu Na had steadied herself, looking slightly flustered. She couldn’t help feeling helpless inside. These two kids were adorable when they behaved, but were equally annoying when they made trouble.

“Thank you, Magic ntor Guo Xu.”

“You’re welco, Director Hu.”

After exchanging pleasantries, this magic ntor nad Guo Xu, led Long Dangdang and Long Kongkong towards the interior of the Magic Temple.

Hu Na didn’t follow them. She was just an ordinary person and according to the rules of both the Federal Office of Governnt Affairs and the local governnt offices, managers in the administration couldn’t originate from the temples.

The brothers were led into a large room. As soon as they entered, they were attracted to the magnificent gold patterns on the floor. The patterns appeared alive, pulsating and shimring with mysterious brilliance.

The room was circular with a ring of sculptures around. Just like those in the outer hall, there were more than a dozen of them.

“Who among you two will go first?” The Magic ntor Guo Xu walked to the center of the room and looked at the two brothers calmly.

“I’ll go first.” Long Kongkong instantly raised his hand, without a hint of stage fright.

“Alright, you walk to the center of the floor pattern.” ntor Guo Xu guided.

Long Kongkong did as he was told, looking back at his brother with an air of superiority as if saying, “Watch and see just how good I am.”

ntor Guo Xu commanded seriously, “Focus and stay still.”

“Oh.” Kongkong turned to look at the ntor, his eyes filled with curiosity.

The next mont, the patterns on the floor began to emit a stronger light. Instantly, Kongkong felt warmth spread throughout his body, an indefinable comfort.

Dangdang, from where he stood, saw the sculptures around the room releasing points of different colored lights. These points of light sward in, rapidly integrating into the floor patterns, the brilliance growing even more intense, enveloping Kongkong’s body.

Kongkong wore a satisfied expression and couldn’t resist saying, “Bro, why does this feel like I am taking a bath?”

ntor Guo Xu also paused montarily. He’d never seen soone who could still talk during the process of elental fairy recognition.

The entire process lasted a full minute. All the while, Guo Xu’s eyes were fixated on the elental fairy sculptures around the room. However, even when all the light on the floor had extinguished, none of the sculptures reacted.

“There is no elental fairy affinity.” Guo Xu said in a solemn tone.

“It was pretty comfortable. Grandpa, what do you an by that?” Kongkong asked curiously.

Sighing lightly, Guo Xu said, “No elental fairy affinity ans that none of the elental fairies chose you, to bond with. Of course, there’s another possibility – that the elent you have affinity with is not included here. But that likelihood is quite small. The Magic Temple encompasses nearly all elents in the world.”

Kongkong understood, “So you an, I’m not suitable to be a mage?”

Seeing the buoyant expression on the boy’s face, Guo Xu paused in surprise. This was the first ti he had t a child who didn’t want to beco a mage. Out of the Six Great Sacred Temples, the two strongest ones were the Magic Temple and the Knights Temple. Compared to the strict code of the Knights, the mystical and magnificent aspects of wizardry undoubtedly appealed more to the young.

“We should also test your magic spiritual power. If your magic spiritual power is high, it ans you might possibly possess as yet unknown attributes.” As he spoke, Magic ntor Guo Xu brought a crystal ball to Long Kongkong, indicating for him to place his hand on it.

Long Kongkong curiously placed his palm on the crystal ball. In the next mont, it seed as if a pulling force emanated from the crystal ball. Long Kongkong felt as if sothing from his body was being absorbed by it, then, a faint halo of light surfaced on the crystal ball.

The light wasn’t intense and quickly returned to calm, with a number subsequently appearing on the surface of the crystal ball.

“Nine?” A look of disappointnt imdiately spread across Magic ntor Guo Xu’s face.

He knew that the two children before him were the sons of the Deputy Hall Master of the Priest Temple. Naturally, he had certain expectations in his heart, because the children of the powerful often have a higher probability of possessing outstanding talents.

“Is nine good or bad?” Long Kongkong asked curiously.

The corner of Magic ntor Guo Xu’s mouth twitched, “Total score is one hundred.”

Having attended a basic academy, Long Kongkong’s eyes widened, “So, I failed, right? No problem, I’m used to it.” Indeed, he seldom passed.

“You’re quite a way off passing.” Magic ntor Guo Xu coughed.

“You really are blunt, Grandpa. Brother, it’s your turn.” Long Kongkong grimaced and stepped aside.

Compared to his brother, Long Dangdang looked noticeably nervous. Unlike his brother’s indifference, he liked the occupation of Mage quite a lot. After all, he had witnessed the splendor of mages conjuring magic.

Similarly standing in the middle of the light circle, Magic ntor Guo Xu didn’t return to his own position, but instead handed him the crystal ball and said, “You just directly test your magic spiritual power.”

“Okay.” Long Dangdang only felt a coolness in his palm as he slowly extended his hand to place it on the crystal ball.

Magician ntors Guo Xu released magical power to guide him and in the next instant, Long Kongkong, who was heading back to his previous position, felt a sudden brightness behind him and subconsciously turned around.

His mouth fell open in shock to see the crystal ball between Long Dangdang and Magic ntor Guo Xu glowing vibrantly, radiant like a tiny sun, lighting up the room.

What was even more stunning was that without any guidance from Magic ntor Guo Xu, the surrounding elental statues began to glow voluntarily. Instantly, seven statues were bathed in intense light, becoming transparent. The light swirled in the air, emitting circles of halos that enveloped Long Dangdang in the center.

Magic ntor Guo Xu’s eyes were wide open in disbelief.

The light lasted for several minutes before gradually subsiding. Magic ntor Guo Xu swallowed hard, his gaze firmly on the crystal ball in his hand.

The next mont, he said in a trembling voice: “Eighty-three, innate magic spiritual force of eighty-three!” By the ti he ntioned the score for the second ti, his voice was uncontrollably high-pitched.

Long Kongkong mumbled: “He passed? He actually passed? Sothing isn’t right! During regular exams, Big Brother usually only scores a few more points than .”

Initially, he didn’t care much when his own score was only nine. However, seeing his brother’s score was nine tis his own, he did feel a bit stung.

Long Dangdang turned around to look at his brother, and Long Kongkong gave him a big thumbs-up, “Congratulations, for the first ti in your life, you passed.”

Magic ntor Guo Xu muttered, “The dragon prospers, the rat fails. Is this the so-called dragon prospers, rat fails? All the talents of the twins are concentrated in one person?”

His voice was not low, both brothers heard clearly. Enraged, Long Kongkong retorted, “Old man, if you mock again, I will pee right here!”
