"How is it, you're planning to run away?"

"Otherwise? With my current capabilities, going against Christopher Hart is like an egg hitting a stone. I can't let him know the two brothers exist!"

"I understand. But if he really starts to suspect sothing and investigates, your running away would just expose you." Snow Fitch pondered for a mont before suggesting, "First, stay calm. I think the priority is to hide the brothers well."

Alia Garcia thought it over and felt it made sense.

"Besides, he might not investigate. After all, you've been dead for four years—who would suspect that you faked your death?"

Alia Garcia wavered, "Are you sure?"

Snow explained, "Back then, when the child was brought to Christopher Hart, he was shocked and furious, saying he wanted to settle the score with you. I told him you had a premature birth, suffered a massive hemorrhage postpartum, and had already died. At first, he didn't believe it, but then he saw the hospital records, funeral arrangents, and your gravestone—then he had no choice but to believe."

At this point, Alia Garcia was thoroughly impressed with her best friend.

At that ti, the best plan she could think of was to fake her death, so that she could completely avoid Christopher Hart's "pursuit" and leave with the other two children, but deceiving everyone was not an easy task.

Luckily, her best friend ca through. From the surgery records at the local health clinic to the cremation certificate at the funeral ho, and even the gravesite and headstone—a complete one-stop service, perfectly arranged!

Thinking about all this, Alia Garcia cald down again, "Hmm, I hope he truly believes in my death."

"Don't worry. If he does start to investigate, he will co to first, and I'll handle him. But just to be safe, you should still take the boys and lay low for a while."

"Okay!"

Alia Garcia already missed her daughter terribly, and now that she had accidentally co across her, seeing the little girl's adorable bewildernt made her heart lt even more, her concern growing ever stronger.

Reluctant to leave in such a hurry, she decided to follow her best friend's advice for the ti being.

————

Assistant King was very efficient.

Christopher Hart had just finished lunch with his precious daughter when Lucas King had already pulled together all the information.

"President Hart, that Maserati belongs to Miss Snow Fitch of the Fitch Family. I checked the hotel surveillance, and the woman who appeared in the lobby around ten in the morning wasn't Miss Fitch."

The man's brow furrowed slightly.

Lucas continued, "The video was a bit far from the cara, and her face was unclear when zood in. It was clearer in the elevator, but she was wearing sunglasses and kept her head down the whole ti—we couldn't see her features—Oh, right! That woman had walked around outside the presidential suite, then took a loop and left."

Christopher Hart wiped his daughter's mouth while his handso face noticeably darkened at the last statent.

"You an she is the jewelry designer we've been waiting for? Her last na is..."

"Norton, Clarke Norton." Lucas wiped the cold sweat from his forehead again.

Christopher Hart stared at him for a few seconds, then suddenly picked up his daughter and rose, "Go find Snow Fitch."

Lucas hurriedly followed, his expression puzzled, "President Hart, do you really suspect..."

Christopher didn't respond, but his heart was heavy with doubt.

Back then, that woman vanished into thin air, and Snow said she had died of postpartum hemorrhage. Although all the formalities were complete, he always felt there was a deception.

And today, so coincidentally, soone was driving Snow's car, who was not Snow herself...

The key point was that the figure looked so familiar; he refused to believe such a coincidence.

Christopher's thin lips slightly curved, holding his daughter and striding swiftly, he glanced at Lucas with his deep eyes, "Don't you think... all this is too coincidental?"

Lucas was taken aback, "You're saying, madam, she's still alive!"

"She is no longer a madam."

"Is..."

Christopher sat in the car, and the little girl, seeing her father's stern face, used her chubby little hands to pinch his cheek, "Daddy, what's wrong... is Hope being naughty and upsetting you?"

The man imdiately smiled reassuringly, "No, Hope is such a good girl."

"Hehe, I think so too. If Hope is good, mommy will co back." The little girl smiled adorably, talking to herself.

Christopher didn't say a word, but the large palm holding his daughter unconsciously tightened a bit.

Looking at his daughter's delicate and pretty features, another similar face erged in his mind.

Four years had passed, and he still couldn't believe that the woman had died, completely leaving his world...

If he found out that everything back then was a hoax, he would definitely punish that audacious woman severely!

————

"President Hart, we've arrived; this is the place." The Bentley ca to a stop, and Lucas King got out to open the door.

The man responded, cradling his precious daughter as he got out of the car.

But as soon as one foot touched the ground, he suddenly paused.

Lucas King asked in confusion, "President Hart?"

"Let's not go. Have soone keep an eye on Snow Fitch, but make sure she doesn't notice," Christopher suddenly changed his mind and sat back in the car.

Lucas King was startled but quickly understood, "Yes, your subordinate understands."

The news of the Mada's death was brought by Miss Fitch years ago. If she intended to hide sothing, she would surely have excuses ready by now; even if the boss showed up at her doorstep, she would be dispensed with a few words.

It would be better to feign ignorance, let them lower their guard, and expose themselves.

As he closed the car door, Lucas King couldn't resist flattering, "President Hart is brilliant!"

Christopher: "..."

Hope Hart furrowed her little brows, "Daddy, aren't we going to find Mommy anymore?"

The man smiled gently, his long fingers carefully combing through his daughter's soft hair and tucking it behind her ear, "We'll play a ga, and let Mommy show up on her own, okay?"

"Hmm? Can we?"

"If Daddy says we can, then we can."

"Daddy is aweso!"

"Of course." Seeing his daughter's smile, the man's own smile grew even more tender and doting, "Where would my treasure like to go this afternoon?"

The little girl pondered briefly, "Oliver's brother's birthday is coming, and Hope wants to buy a birthday present for Oliver."

"So... shall we go to the mall?"

"Yes!"

anwhile, Alia Garcia, who had moved with her twin sons to a new residence, was also getting ready to go out and buy so household supplies for the children.

Worried that her best friend was already being watched by Christopher, she dared not let her friend co over to see the kids and had to take the brothers out with her.

Assistant Shaw would be back in the country tomorrow; then, with an extra pair of hands, things wouldn't be so difficult.

"Rember what Mom said, right? There are many people in the mall, and you can't run around, follow Mom!" Inside the mall elevator, Alia Garcia reminded them once again.

"We get it, Mom, you've said it five tis already!" Ethan, the younger brother, complained.

Noah corrected, "No! This is the sixth ti!"

Ethan: "I clearly rember it being the fifth."

Noah: "Ha, besides rembering to eat, what else does your brain hold?"

Ethan: "Hey! Noah Garcia! Don't think you're so great just because you're two minutes older than ! I'm taller!"

Noah: "Heh, but I'm still the older brother! Co on, call older brother!"

Ethan: "Won't, I won't!"

Alia Garcia rolled her eyes helplessly and pulled one child with each hand out of the elevator, "Can you two please stop arguing? You're making Mom's head hurt!"
