Christopher Hart’s face was full of smugness that hadn’t had the chance to unfurl when it was utterly shattered by those words, his brows and eyes darkening instantaneously.

"Are you talking nonsense, trying to anger ?" he glared sideways, questioning.

"Talking nonsense?" Alia Garcia laughed, running her fingers through her hair and slowly retorted, "Do you think I lack charm? Or do you think Kane isn’t man enough?"

And obviously, both were affirmatively true.

Thus, adding them together, if nothing had happened, that would defy science!

Sure enough, the suspicion in Christopher’s eyes turned into shadows, his entire face becoming serious and darkened.

Alia looked at him, thinking she had finally turned the tables, making him eat his own words for once.

His brain must be sick, asking this sort of thing for no reason!

Everybody was already divorced; who she was with or who she had relations with was none of his business!

The train carriage fell silent. The brothers sitting across, although unsure what exactly Mom and Scumbag Father were talking about, could see that Scumbag Father was obviously angry and displeased, and they both felt slight schadenfreude.

However, they didn’t dare to show it.

Upon arriving at the kindergarten, the school leaders were already waiting at the entrance.

When they saw Christopher, the professional and capable-looking female principal imdiately walked forward respectfully, raising her arm, ready to shake hands.

But Christopher was in a bad mood, his expression dark, exuding a ’keep out’ aura.

Not wanting any physical contact with the woman, he excused himself by holding his daughter, rely nodding towards her.

The principal felt a bit embarrassed, but quickly withdrew her hand and made a ’please’ gesture, then looked at the beautiful woman following by his side.

"You must be the triplets’ mother, right? So beautiful, and such a great deanor, you don’t at all appear to be a mother to children," the principal noticed the man’s inapproachability and imdiately shifted her attention to Alia Garcia, providing herself an out.

Alia, afraid soone would address her as Mrs. Hart or similar, imdiately said, "Hello, Principal, my last na is Norton."

"Oh~ Lady Norton, hello!"

A group of school leaders and teachers were struck by the high caliber of beauty in the family in front of them, each with faces showing amazent, as they imdiately ca forward to greet the children.

Ethan was initially making a fuss about not wanting to co to kindergarten, but upon arriving here and seeing a place that resembled a fairytale castle world, complete with various play equipnt and educational toys, his attention was quickly absorbed.

The children followed the teachers away, and Alia Garcia accompanied Christopher, following the principal and others on a tour through the school grounds.

Christopher, having already scoped out the place and familiar with every area, was disinterested in listening again, his mind occupied with whether she and Kane had rolled between the sheets.

Whereas Alia was here for the first ti, thinking her three treasures would spend a few years here, she wanted to understand it thoroughly.

Finally, after making a round, the principal asked for their thoughts. Just as Alia was about to speak, the man who had been silent for what seed like an eternity suddenly turned his head and said, "So, did you use a honey trap in exchange for his partnership? Or maybe... to win him over as your partner, did you intentionally use—"

"Christopher Hart!" Alia, not letting him finish, was so angry she could have torn his mouth apart.

So this wasn’t going to be let go, was it?

Under the public eye, in front of outsiders, he still insisted on clarifying everything!

Moreover, this bastard was slandering her once again!

She used her body to make a deal, purposefully seducing Kane to help her career?

The sudden conflict between the two alard the accompanying principal and school leaders.

Christopher looked at her face, red with anger, realizing he had ssed up again, his thin lips tight, his expression still indecipherable as to whether he was happy or angry.

"Principal, we’ve understood everything clearly. As long as the children like it here, we have no objections."

Suppressing her rage, Alia turned to express their decision to the principal, thinking of leaving imdiately.

But when she turned around, she saw the kids running back.

"Mom, are you guys leaving?" Noah asked.

"Yes, do you like it here?" The woman squatted down, anger burning in her chest, yet she managed a gentle and shallow smile for her son.

"We do." All three kids nodded.

"Then from now on, let’s happily study and live here," she encouraged the three children, stood up, and gave a slight nod of her chin, "Go with the teacher inside and see what the other kids are doing."

Although the children liked the place, the thought of being separated from their parents filled them with reluctance.

Especially Hope, who was on the verge of crying with watery eyes.

The principal hurried over and, with much experience, diverted the children’s attention, coaxing them to say goodbye to their parents with lingering reluctance as they entered the academic building.

As soon as the children disappeared, Alia Garcia’s smile vanished too.

Not wanting to utter another word to the jerk beside her, she turned her back, her face cold, and strode away with a firm step.

Christopher Hart’s expression was equally grim, and he followed her, "Where are you going?"

"..." Ignoring him, she quickened her pace.

The man’s long legs caught up in two strides, reaching forward and grabbing her arm.

"Let go!" In a fluid motion, the woman lifted her hand to skillfully evade his touch, her face tensed and ashen.

"Christopher Hart, in your eyes, I’m just worthless, aren’t I? I can only be a pretty vase, right? If I were to achieve anything in my career, it must be because I used my beauty and body in transactions with n for money, right?" Alia fired off three consecutive questions, each hitting the mark.

"If you look down on so much, why keep persisting? If I were to agree to be with you, wouldn’t you one day say that I married you for your power and wealth because I’m a gold-digger and vain?"

Christopher clenched his brows tightly, panicked by her words, he felt the need to defend himself: "You’ve been outstanding since you were young, always unwilling to admit defeat. I know better than anyone that you are capable."

"Then why say such bullshit?"

Furious and unable to endure it, she turned to leave again.

Christopher followed her, and she suddenly turned back: "Stop following , or I can’t guarantee what I might do!"

Perhaps intimidated by her fierce and resolute expression, Christopher stopped in his tracks and stood there.

He had planned to drop off the kids and then take her to work so that the two of them could have so ti alone.

But now that plan was ruined.

As he watched her hail a cab and speed off, Christopher bit his teeth in frustration, feeling extrely suffocated inside.

Kane, that third wheel, had to be dealt with quickly!

Otherwise, this woman’s heart would keep wavering.

Even if she didn’t have romantic feelings for the foreigner, she’d use him as a shield to be annoying.

With this in mind, Christopher pulled out his phone and called Benny Palr.

"How’s the task I entrusted to you going? I don’t care... All I want are results, if you really must, take another trip to Europe."

Young Master Palr was usually easy-going, but he couldn’t help losing his patience now, complaining: "Why is it that I’m the one running around busy when you’re chasing your ex-wife?"

"I have to take care of the kids and can’t leave," the man justified as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

"..." Benny was so frustrated he was lost for words, and after a pause, he ground his teeth, "Fine! You have the kids. You win!"
