"How did it go? Did you find out?"

Sheng Ting returned to the room, and Shen Weiyi had not slept yet.

Sheng Ting walked forward, unbuttoning his shirt as he spoke, "Our son has grown up, he knows how to take care of his sister now. But Baoning, that girl, is small yet so cunning and petty."

"What happened?"

Sheng Ting had changed into his ho clothes, his voice was helpless yet filled with doting, "That girl brought all the arts and crafts from kindergarten back ho for Xiao Ye to do."

"No wonder, that girl always clings to her brother after school," Shen Weiyi couldn’t help but laugh upon hearing this.

They had been too busy; these were things they should have done with the kids themselves.

However, the siblings shared a better relationship than most others did.

This was indeed the most comforting thing for the couple.

"I will make more ti to spend with the two of them in the future," Shen Weiyi said.

Both she and Sheng Ting had been too busy, often neglecting the children’s growth and educational needs, but fortunately, both children were relatively well-behaved and sensible.

"I’m sorry!" Sheng Ting stepped forward and wrapped Shen Weiyi in his arms.

The most negligent in this family was actually him.

"What’s the matter?" Shen Weiyi lifted her head from his embrace.

Sheng Ting, with guilt in his eyes, said, "I’ve been too busy these years, haven’t had enough ti to properly be with you all."

Shen Weiyi laughed upon hearing this, "If that’s what you an, it’s okay," she said, "As long as the hearts of the family are together, we have nothing to fear."

"Mmm!" Sheng Ting lowered his head to look at her, "eting you in this lifeti is my greatest fortune."

It was fortune, but also happiness!

" too!" Shen Weiyi smiled, curving her lips.

Despite the passing years, their love for each other remained unchanged.

Sheng Ting looked at her; under the soft light, she still looked just as she did the first ti he saw her.

A mont of feeling, a glimpse of eternity.

"What are you looking at?" Shen Weiyi t his gaze and couldn’t help asking with a smile.

Sheng Ting: "Looking at you!"

"Have you not gotten enough of looking at after all these years?" Shen Weiyi grinned.

Sheng Ting pulled her hand into his, intertwined their fingers, and kissed her lips, saying, "Not enough! I will never get enough in this lifeti."

...

The next day.

Shen Weiyi dropped Sheng Ye off at school, letting him go in by himself.

As Sheng Ye just entered the school gate, a figure jumped off from the car, her eyes lit up when she saw him, and she imdiately ran towards him.

"Xiao Ye, were you okay yesterday?" Tang An’an caught up with Sheng Ye and asked.

Sheng Ye did not speak.

Tang An’an continued, "I saw the teacher call your mom, she didn’t scold you, did she?"

Sheng Ye furrowed his brow slightly but eventually answered, "No!"

"Your mom is really nice to you!" Tang An’an said with a smile, then pulled a candy from her pocket and offered it to him, "Here, have this!"

"No thanks!" Sheng Ye declined.

He wasn’t a girl, he didn’t like sweets.

But Tang An’an simply stuffed it into his hand, "Eat it, it’s really good. Consider it my way of saying thank you, I know you were helping when you fought with Xiao Pang yesterday."

"I didn’t hit him," Sheng Ye corrected.

Tang An’an quickly nodded, "Right, right, he deserved it anyway."

Sheng Ye didn’t want to talk anymore, his face stern, "Stop following !"

"But I need to go to the classroom too!" Tang An’an looked at him innocently.

Sheng Ye fell silent for a mont, then turned away, ignoring her.

Behind him, Tang An’an pursed her lips and smiled, dimples faintly appearing on her cheeks.
