"Classmate!" Qin Zhen imdiately called out to a passing girl, "Can I ask what you were talking about just now?"

The girl glanced in the direction of Shen Weiyi and said, "We weren’t talking about anything." Then she hurriedly pulled the girl beside her and left.

Qin Zhen asked several people before finally understanding what was going on.

"Sohow the news that you are Jiang Zhiyi’s ex-girlfriend got out, everyone is speculating that you transferred to our school for him," she relayed the information she had gathered to Shen Weiyi, paused, then added, "But, when did our school start spreading news so quickly?"

Shen Weiyi’s face remained mostly expressionless.

Because of her identity, she had been the subject of attention and discussion from outsiders her whole life. Though she did not like being talked about, she wasn’t going to let others’ words affect her.

Perhaps it’s because throughout her growth, Shen Juanzhi had given her enough love, she never felt there was anything wrong with her origins.

If there were people in the world who loved her, then her existence had aning.

At this mont, it was the sa; her clear conscience shielded her from fearing the rumors.

"You okay?" Qin Zhen was a bit worried about her.

"I’m fine. Let’s go!"

Shen Weiyi knew exactly who might be related to this matter. Besides her and Jiang Zhiyi, there was only one other person who knew about the ex-girlfriend situation. She hadn’t expected them to act so quickly; she had underestimated them before.

"You know, Jiang Zhiyi has always garnered a lot of attention at our school. There is a countless number of girls chasing him, and every day soone confesses to him, but he rejects them all. Everyone is curious about what type of girl he actually likes. Since you suddenly appeared, that’s why everyone is paying extra attention. But don’t take it to heart; people are just curious at first, and in a few days, they’ll forget about it," Qin Zhen reassured her.

"No worries." It wasn’t a big deal after all.

"You’re really okay?" Qin Zhen felt her response seed too calm. Shouldn’t she be angry or sothing?

"Don’t worry, it’s not a big deal," Shen Weiyi was very open-minded, "And, my decision to transfer to Jiu Middle School was indeed because of Jiang Zhiyi at first. But we broke up recently, so what everyone is gossiping about isn’t entirely wrong. Just that saying I transferred to win him back is inaccurate. But no one really cares about what the real situation is, and I can’t go explaining to everyone. Like you said, people just enjoy the montary buzz, and once they’re done talking, it will pass."

"So, you really don’t plan on getting back together with Jiang Zhiyi?" Not gonna lie, the two of them did make a good-looking couple.

The emotions must have been quite strong for her to transfer schools for soone, it seed a pity to just let it end.

"We’ll see! Right now, I think focusing on studies is more reliable than focusing on relationships," Shen Weiyi sowhat regretted it, she should have never bothered feeling sorry about the money Shen Juan spent.

Had she not transferred, none of this ss would have happened.

"Alright!" Qin Zhen couldn’t help but laugh, "Then let’s work hard together and find better n in college."

As the two were about to leave, they suddenly faced Xu Chenxi and a few other girls coming their way. The girls recognized Shen Weiyi and were pointing and talking about her, seemingly asking Xu Chenxi sothing.

Because they were so distance away, Shen Weiyi couldn’t hear exactly what they were saying,

yet she saw a challenging look in the eye contact she made with Xu Chenxi.
