Before dawn, it was ti for the annual club recruitnt day.

The drama club didn’t host many activities, just one or two a year. Because of Xie Hongfei and Shi Yu, she was always given an inconspicuous minor role, either with just one or two lines or none at all. This arrangent didn’t take up much ti and still counted as participating in club activities.

Shen Weiyi received a text from Xie Hongfei asking her to help with the recruitnt of freshers this year.

Thinking about how he had taken care of her over the past year, Shen Weiyi readily agreed.

The recruitnt scene was as bustling as ever.

The freshers had just finished their military training, each with a face full of hope and longing for the beautiful university life ahead.

As soon as Shen Weiyi arrived at the recruitnt booth, she was pulled to stand at the most visible spot.

Her main task for today was to stand at the front of the booth, serving as the poster girl for the drama club.

She recalled how Xie Hongfei and Shi Yu ca up with the idea to print Sheng Ting’s photo on the recruitnt flyer to attract new mbers last year. This year, they had gone one step further by offering a real-life greeting.

However, the result was remarkable.

Many freshers ca to sign up and inquire at the booth, with so bold junior boys even approaching Shen Weiyi directly to ask for her WeChat.

Xie Hongfei didn’t even need Shen Weiyi to speak; he clearly refused for her: to get the junior’s WeChat, one must pass the drama club’s recruitnt and beco a mber.

Eager to get Shen Weiyi’s WeChat, everyone rushed to sign up. The number of applicants even surpassed that of the previous year.

Others needed two days, three days, or even a week to fill their spots; they managed to get it all done in an afternoon.

After sorting out the sign-up sheets, Xie Hongfei happily announced to everyone, "Thanks for your hard work today. I’ll treat you all to dinner tonight."

"Thank you, President, you’re the coolest," everyone cheered imdiately.

Lin Xiao had left the club last sester, and the current president was Xie Hongfei.

"Stop flattering . There’s still work to do after dinner. We need to go through these applications and decide who will advance to the next round of interviews." They had prepared about a thousand application forms, all filled out in one afternoon. Next, they had to select a hundred for interviews.

It was no small task.

"No problem! President, don’t worry; we won’t let you down. We promise to complete the task as quickly as possible," the crowd responded with laughter.

"What are we waiting for? Let’s go!" Xie Hongfei called everyone to leave.

Shen Weiyi wasn’t very familiar with the others and was only sowhat close to Xie Hongfei and Shi Yu. She initially planned not to go.

But she heard Xie Hongfei say, "You were our hero today. You must co."

"Yeah, Junior Shen, co with us!" Shi Yu also urged.

"Alright," Shen Weiyi reluctantly agreed and finally left with the crowd.

However, Xie Hongfei ended up taking everyone to the cafeteria entrance.

The crowd was taken aback: "Seriously, President, you’re treating us to the cafeteria?"

Xie Hongfei: "What else? What did you want to eat?"

"At least take us to a restaurant or sothing," the crowd suggested.

Xie Hongfei glared at them, "What are you thinking? My monthly allowance is just that much. If I spend it all on you, am I supposed to live on air for the rest of the month? Stop complaining. At most, I’ll allow you each one more serving of braised pork."

"Tch!" The crowd scorned him in unison.
