Shen Weiyi couldn’t help but feel dazed upon suddenly hearing that Sheng Ting had returned.

During the past year, she had devoted herself entirely to her studies, rarely going out to socialize except for when Shen Tan and Qin Zhen invited her. However, it was Sheng Yan, the kid, who often ssaged her.

She could refuse invitations from Situ Jing, but she couldn’t say no to Little Douding. Just last week, they had gone to an amusent park together.

But Little Douding never ntioned that his brother was coming back.

At that mont, her phone screen suddenly lit up, and she saw a ssage from Qin Zhen, "Yiyi, co to Shun Garden tonight, Shen Jingqi that kid is treating."

Shun Garden was a well-known private restaurant in C city, with an average cost exceeding a thousand yuan per person. Shen Weiyi had been there before with Shen Juanzhi, where the environnt was serene, and the dishes were quite good, although it generally only served custors who had reservations.

For the past year, Qin Zhen had been tutoring Shen Jingqi, and at so point, they had taken a liking to each other. Qin Zhen had set a goal for that kid, saying that if he got into Z University, they would be together.

To everyone’s surprise, that kid had actually made it.

Indeed, the power of love is incredibly strong, capable of pushing soone who wanted to lay low all the way into Z University.

When Shen Weiyi arrived at the sports field, Shen Jingqi, that kid, had just finished military training.

Born with good looks, his broad shoulders made the lines of his camouflage uniform flow smoothly, his waist slim and his legs long, yet far from skinny. Even though his face, now losing its youthful naivety, had gotten a bit tanned these past few days, it didn’t detract from his eye-catching features that made the girls glance repeatedly.

However, one person had no awareness of being the campus’s new star, lazily leaning on Qin Zhen, displaying an unscrupulous attitude.

Qin Zhen, with a look of disgust, was pushing his head to the side, and upon seeing Shen Weiyi approach, he quickly kicked him to hint that he should stand up straight. The latter then reluctantly stood upright, yet his long arms were firmly wrapped around her waist, showing no sign of letting go.

Seeing the close relationship between the two, Shen Weiyi couldn’t help but feel happy for them.

Still, she couldn’t help but tease, "Geez, under the public eye, do you two have to be this clingy?"

Qin Zhen looked helpless, she hadn’t expected that just by dating, this guy would beco so clingy.

Thinking of returns!

Glancing sideways at the person next to her, Qin Zhen said, "Yiyi is here, shouldn’t we get going?"

"Don’t rush, wait for one more person." Shen Jingqi said, and the next second, he looked behind Shen Weiyi and said, "He’s here."

Shen Weiyi was turning around when she imdiately heard Shen Jingqi’s loud voice following up behind her, calling out, "Brother Ting, over here."

Mid-turn, Shen Weiyi couldn’t help but freeze, but eventually, she slowly turned around, only to see a familiar figure approaching them.

After a year, he was still as handso as ever, only now he seed colder than before. His figure had grown even more slender, and his deanor more poised.

It took quite a while before Shen Weiyi found her voice again, looking complicatedly at the person she hadn’t been in touch with for a long ti and asking, "You’re back?"

"Yeah!" Sheng Ting’s voice was still as pleasant as ever, but his attitude had grown considerably colder than before.

It was as if he had beco the person others described as cold, reserved, and unapproachable.

His gaze towards her was the sa as it was towards anyone else, as if she was just an ordinary acquaintance.

But indeed, their current relationship was quite ordinary, they couldn’t even truly be considered friends.
