"Alright, everyone calm down!" Mr. Shen finally spoke up, glaring at Shen Zhe, "Aren’t you ashad enough? Look at yourself, what do you look like? Weiyi is your sister, and you, as her brother, want to lay hands on your own sister?"

Then he turned to Shen Weiyi: "This ti it was your second brother who was wrong, but we’re all family. There’s no need for such uproar over any issues."

Although Mr. Shen didn’t like Shen Zhe, he also didn’t like Shen Weiyi, who, like the third, had a cold nature, a rebellious streak, and was tough to handle.

"Let’s put this matter to rest, and nobody is allowed to ntion it again."

Shen Zhe couldn’t believe his ears, defiantly raging at Grandpa Shen, "Grandpa, it’s clearly this girl who hard . How can we just let it go?"

Mr. Shen glared at him: "If you hadn’t provoked her, why would she want to harm you?"

"I..." Shen Zhe was at a loss for words, "But we can’t just let it go like that."

"What else would you have us do?" Mr. Shen asked coldly. "You made a fool of yourself, and now you expect others to take the fall for you?"

When Mr. Shen said this, Ye Yao’s face turned pale, knowing that this comnt was directed at her. She hurriedly spoke up: "Grandpa Shen, Uncle, Auntie, I ca here specifically to apologize to sister Weiyi. This was all my fault, it has nothing to do with Shen Zhe. I was deceived by soone which led to the misunderstanding before, and Ah Zhe was just trying to help by taking the bla. He never had any intention of harming sister Weiyi."

"What do you have to say for yourself?" Mr. Shen turned to Shen Zhe.

Shen Zhe snorted: "You heard her. I didn’t harm her. It’s this damn girl’s relentless pursuit that got locked up for so many days. It’s only fair that she apologizes to , right?"

"Idiot!" Mr. Shen dropped these two words and then fell silent.

Shen Zhe’s face darkened, not understanding which of his words were wrong.

Mr. Shen then looked at Ye Yao: "Lady Ye, since this was Shen Zhe’s choice, we respect it. He has taken the appropriate punishnt for you, so let’s not bring this matter up again."

Ye Yao’s complexion beca even paler, and she imdiately said: "No, no, no, we should still make things clear. It’s all because I was too soft-hearted, helping my cousin cover it up that I dragged Ah Zhe into this."

"Cousin?" Shen Weiyi looked over at her.

Ye Yao nodded hastily: "Actually, all those photos online were taken by my cousin. Right, you know her, it’s Qin Ruo. I heard you two are roommates. I don’t know if there’s so misunderstanding between you two, but she was staying at my place for a while and secretly posted your photos online."

Shen Weiyi: "You an, those photos were taken and posted online by Qin Ruo?" This person is certainly clearing her own na.

"Exactly!" Ye Yao nodded, "I only found out after the fact, once the posts were already up."

"If that’s the case, then why didn’t you clarify things with the police at the beginning instead of letting Shen Zhe take the bla for you?"

Ye Yao stuttered: "I, I didn’t realize it would be so serious, after all, Qin Ruo is my sister. I thought since you and Ah Zhe are family, you definitely wouldn’t pursue it. I never imagined things would turn out like this, had I known, I certainly wouldn’t have agreed to Ah Zhe doing that."

"Heh!" Shen Weiyi couldn’t help but let out a cold laugh.

So, it’s sisterly love for them, while I’m the cold one who disregards family ties.

Even at this point, she’s still playing cunning tricks.
