Twenty minutes later, Sheng Ting carried two cups of tea over.

The tea shop was even busier than before.

Shen Weiyi hadn’t expected such a small tea shop to do so well.

Seeing the crowd grow, he turned to Sheng Ting and said, "Let’s go!"

"Okay!"

As the two left the tea shop, Sheng Ting said to her, "I plan to modify the laboratory’s electrical equipnt and install a backup generator. That way, even if there’s a power outage, it won’t affect the lab’s internal power system. Then we’ll never have soone locked inside the lab again."

"It’s actually not that complicated. Last night was just an accident, and besides, I don’t often go to the lab."

There was no need to go to such lengths.

Besides, installing a generator in the lab was no small matter, and it was highly unlikely that the school would approve. Even if each lab had its own budget, they couldn’t just spend it on sothing so trivial.

Sheng Ting said, "It’s not a bother. I’ve already figured out how to do it. I spoke with a teacher just now, and he has already agreed. It should be installed in a few days."

So surprises only need to happen once.

"Are you going to install it yourself?" Shen Weiyi gleaned from his words that he wasn’t planning to apply through the school. But buying generator equipnt wasn’t cheap, was he planning to pay for it himself?

Sheng Ting: "The generators on the market are too bulky and their performance isn’t stable enough. I’ve previously researched a micro generator specifically designed for ho use. With a slight modification, it can be used in the lab."

Shen Weiyi looked at him in surprise. "Aren’t you studying chemistry?" How could he design a generator?

Sheng Ting: "I still know the basic physics."

That made sense. He had been the top scholar in his college entrance exams; presumably, he was exceptional in both physics and chemistry.

He had been able to join the chemistry lab in his freshman year, not just because he was good at chemistry, but because he could choose freely.

That was probably the difference between a genius and an ordinary person.

To others, what required money to accomplish, he could solve just by lifting a finger.

"What’s wrong?" Seeing her suddenly fall silent, Sheng Ting couldn’t help but stop and look at her.

Had he said sothing wrong?

"I just think you’re amazing. Did I strike gold?" Shen Weiyi said with a smile.

Sheng Ting was taken aback for a mont, then couldn’t help but smile as well, his eyes filled with adoration.

Shen Weiyi then brought up the invitation for him to visit her ho during the October holiday, and added, "If you’re busy, never mind!"

Sheng Ting: "I’ll have ti."

"That’s great. Maybe you can bring Little Bao along," Shen Weiyi smiled, curving her lips.

"Okay!" Sheng Ting agreed verbally but didn’t actually plan to bring the little guy.

Little did he know, Zhuang Guanglun was saying to Senior Brother Mu at that mont, "Right, in a few days, you and I will go to S City for a conference. Rember to tell Sheng that kid. You two should co along and see the world."

Senior Brother Mu: "Okay, I’ll inform Sheng shortly."

anwhile, Sheng Ting and Shen Weiyi walked side by side out of the tea shop.

As other people walked in, brushing past, soone stopped and looked over.

"Minister, what are you looking at?" soone called from the side.

"Nothing." The latter shifted his gaze away, but after only a few steps, he couldn’t help but turn around again...
