It does matter.

Being accustod to the kindness of soone can beco taken for granted, a norm, and even sothing to be assertive about.

Relying on being favored by soone can lead one to beco fearless and presumptuous.

She was afraid that one day, she might beco like that too.

Shen Weiyi was montarily lost in thought, but she quickly pulled herself together and naturally changed the subject, "Are you going to the lab today?"

Today was the weekend, and originally, she had planned to go ho, but she stayed because of a departnt eting last night.

Sheng Ting nodded, "Yes." He had already arranged with his senior last night that he would go to finish another part of the experint today. However, thoughts of what Xie Hongfei said last night unconsciously popped into his mind.

No girl likes her boyfriend to spend all his ti in the lab.

Sheng Ting’s gaze then fell on the girl’s bright and beautiful face, and he asked gently, "Would you like to co and see?"

"? Can I?" Shen Weiyi looked at him sowhat surprised.

Aren’t labs generally not allowed to let outsiders in at will?

"It’s fine, it might just be a bit boring." The experints they were working on recently were all routine ones, collecting data; they didn’t require a high level of confidentiality.

But he feared the process might be dull and she would find it boring.

Shen Weiyi nodded, then let’s go.

She had yet to see what he looked like while conducting experints.

After breakfast, the two of them went to the male dormitory together.

"Wait for for a mont."

Standing outside the male dormitory building, Sheng Ting called Xie Hongfei to co downstairs and collect breakfast.

In a short while, a figure erged from the building, sporting ssy hair, wearing boxer shorts, and slippers—the attire... Shen Weiyi really wanted to ask if the school truly lacked soone he cared about.

"Third, your love for your brothers is so real!" Xie Hongfei took the breakfast from Sheng Ting’s hand while playfully teasing.

"Alright, even with food in your mouth, you can’t keep it shut. Just take it and go." Sheng Ting glanced at him indifferently.

"Got it!" The person was about to leave when he suddenly saw Shen Weiyi behind Sheng Ting.

"Eh? Junior Shen?"

"Hello, senior." Shen Weiyi ca out from behind Sheng Ting and greeted him.

Xie Hongfei’s inquisitive gaze wandered back and forth between the two, then he playfully patted Sheng Ting on the shoulder, winking suggestively as if to say, "That’s the way, you’ve got to drop your pride when chasing a girl or she’ll eventually belong to soone else."

"You talk too much," Sheng Ting reminded him.

"Alright alright, I won’t disturb you two." Xie Hongfei waved at Shen Weiyi with his breakfast in hand, "Goodbye, Junior Shen." After speaking, he turned and walked back into the dormitory building.

"Let’s go!" Sheng Ting then turned to Shen Weiyi and said.

"Okay!"

As Xie Hongfei walked halfway and looked back, he saw the two of them leaving side by side.

Gotta say, they were quite a match.

There are many laboratories at Z University.

Sheng Ting led Shen Weiyi into one of them.

There were already people inside; upon hearing the noise, soone looked up, and upon seeing Shen Weiyi behind Sheng Ting, he couldn’t help but brighten up, "Eh, junior brother, could this be your girlfriend?"

"Yes!" Sheng Ting glanced at Shen Weiyi, his lips curving up slightly as he nodded to the other person.

The latter couldn’t help but laugh upon hearing this, "I knew it. You, lad, bringing a girl here for the first ti, it must be your girlfriend for sure." He then looked warmly at Shen Weiyi, "Welco, junior sister, to visit our lab."
