Across from him, Shen Weiyi, hearing Gu Xun’s voice, subconsciously looked up toward him and caught his gaze. He winked at her and smiled, lifting the corners of his mouth.
Shen Weiyi hesitated briefly, then nodded slightly towards him.
The next second, Li Yue’s excited voice rang out, "Ah Xun, is the girl looking at ? She even nodded at ; she must be greeting ."
Across from them, Shen Weiyi’s expression stiffened slightly.
Gu Xun couldn’t help twitching the corners of his mouth, saying to him, "No, you’re mistaken!"
"How could it be? The girl was definitely greeting ; I didn’t see it wrong," Li Yue said, grinning broadly and vigorously waving towards Shen Weiyi.
Gu Xun couldn’t stand his silliness, hooked his neck, and dragged him back inside the classroom, "Alright, don’t scare the girl."
"How could I? I think the girl must like ," Li Yue chuckled foolishly, his grin almost reaching his ears.
Gu Xun was a bit embarrassed, "Alright, shut up now!" Be careful, or soone might settle the score with you later.
The last class of the morning ended.
Qin Zhen stood up and called out to Shen Weiyi, "Co on, I’ll show you the Jiu Middle School cafeteria."
Shen Weiyi closed her book and followed him out of the classroom.
anwhile, Jiang Zhiyi and his friends exited through the back door, suddenly hearing a burst of chatter ahead. Young Master Jiang lazily looked up, his gaze unintentionally sweeping across the opposite side. In just one glance, he froze, his expression one of shock, his pupils dilating.
