Z University is neither particularly large nor very small, making the odds of two students from different majors crossing paths quite slim. He knew that girl’s temperant; if he tried to approach her directly, she would likely ignore him.
That day, he just happened to see her filling out a registration form in front of the drama club’s recruitnt booth.
Now, he could only stay by her side in this manner.
Jiang Zhiyi watched her retreating figure, his eyes growing increasingly dark.
Elsewhere, Xie Hongfei and Shi Yu looked back at the two behind them and once again took out their phones to send a ssage to Sheng Ting.
The singing venue was just outside the school gates, about a hundred ters away.
Lin Xiao had booked a large private room, where thirty or so people sat together.
Halfway through the singing session, the door of the room was pushed open, and Sheng Ting walked in.
His gaze swept through the crowd, imdiately spotting Shen Weiyi in the corner, along with Jiang Zhiyi sitting next to her. He then almost seamlessly made his way toward Shen Weiyi.
Everyone’s gaze brightened when they saw Sheng Ting enter.
Even Lin Xiao looked surprised, but then he saw Shen Weiyi in the corner and his expression turned to understanding.
When Shen Weiyi saw Sheng Ting walk in, she too was sowhat surprised, subconsciously shifting to the side to make room, watching him sit down and asking softly, "Have you finished your experint?"
"Yep!" Sheng Ting nodded slightly, his tall nose frad by gold-rimd glasses, looking as if he had co directly from the lab.
Although it wasn’t the first ti Shen Weiyi had seen him wearing glasses, it always gave her a different sensation.
From the mont he walked in, Jiang Zhiyi’s nerves were on edge, like a competitor on guard, fearing that at any mont his most prized treasure might be taken away by another.
Xie Hongfei’s eyes lingered on Sheng Ting, his smile cryptic; he knew this man couldn’t just sit still.
In fact, the experint wasn’t finished, but it was not sothing that could be completed in just a day or two anyway.
Previously, there hadn’t been anything more important to do, and rather than attending boring club etings, he had preferred to spend his ti in the lab.
Now, compared to his experints, he had sothing he cared about more.
Not long after Sheng Ting had sat down, two girls holding their phones pushed and shoved their way over and said, "Senior, hello. We’re both new mbers who just joined the drama club, and we’re really happy to et you."
"Right, right, we decided to join the drama club after seeing your photo. Um, senior, could we add you on WeChat?"
Sheng Ting lifted his head to look at them and said, "Sorry, it’s not convenient."
The expressions on the girls’ faces visibly faltered with disappointnt as they forced a smile and said, "We didn’t an any offence, senior; we just thought it’d be easier to consult you if there were any issues in the club."
Sheng Ting pointed towards Xie Hongfei and Shi Yu and said, "No need to ask , you can ask them. I’m not responsible for club affairs on a regular basis."
"Okay, okay then!" The faces of the girls stiffened, and they sheepishly returned to their seats.
"I say, third, you’re really not being considerate of these ladies," Xie Hongfei couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow and speak out.
"That’s right!" Shi Yu nodded in agreent.
Sheng Ting: "Whoever recruits them is responsible for them."
Xie Hongfei: "If that’s how it’s going to be, then Junior Shen was also recruited by ; does that an she’s my responsibility from now on?"
Sheng Ting’s cool gaze shifted over, and the latter quickly corrected himself, "Just kidding."
Jiang Zhiyi, watching the earlier scene, seed to have a progressively heavier expression on his face.
