Registration had ended, and next were the interviews and admission work for various clubs.
Most interviews were scheduled for Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday.
Fang Jing’s Student Union interview was arranged for Friday, while Yan Xiaoyue’s Baking Club was on Saturday.
As for Shen Weiyi, the drama club’s interview work was also on Friday evening. However, this ti the recruitnt for the drama club was handled by Xie Hongfei and Shi Yu, making the interview rely a formality. They ntioned that it didn’t matter if she did not attend.
So, on Friday evening, Shen Weiyi and Yan Xiaoyue accompanied Fang Jing to the Student Union’s interview office.
It was said that each departnt of the Student Union recruited about ten people, with a total of less than a hundred people, yet there seed to be four to five hundred applicants.
That wasn’t all; because there were too many registrants, the recruitnt was specially divided over two days.
This was just the first round of screening, and there would be a second round of interviews.
The competition could not be more intense.
"Thank goodness I didn’t sign up," Yan Xiaoyue said with so relief as she looked at the crowd at the door, holding their application forms.
"What should I do, I’m so nervous!" Fang Jing was already very anxious, and seeing so many people made her even more nervous.
"It’s okay, let’s just try to stay calm. I heard that a departnt is recruiting ten people; the chances are still quite good. You’ve applied to other clubs too, right? If not, switching to another club is also fine," Shen Weiyi comforted her.
Aside from only signing up for the drama club, Yan Xiaoyue had, as a backup, also signed up for the Ani Society in addition to the Baking Club.
Fang Jing, apart from the Student Union, had also applied for the University Clubs Alliance and two other clubs.
After all, the school didn’t stipulate that one could only apply for one club; as long as one felt they had enough ti, they could apply for several clubs.
And Shen Weiyi was also planning to change her major; she had to dedicate more ti to her coursework and really didn’t have much ti to participate in club activities. For her, one was already a lot.
"Why are you guys here too?" Suddenly, a sharp voice rang out.
Qin Ruo had walked in wearing high heels.
She held an application form in her hand; she too was obviously here for the interview and had even put on makeup specially. Seeing them seed to irritate her as if she had seen sothing particularly distasteful.
Qin Ruo’s gaze swept over the three of them and finally settled on Fang Jing and said, "You don’t think that just because you were a class monitor, you qualify to join the Student Union, do you?"
Fang Jing’s face turned red instantly. She opened her mouth but didn’t know how to respond, especially feeling the eyes of others looking over, she beca visibly tense.
Shen Weiyi frowned, although she didn’t like to be assertive, she couldn’t stand the other’s haughty deanor. She squeezed Fang Jing’s hand, then looked up at Qin Ruo and said, "Qin Ruo, don’t be too much. Everyone is here for the interview. Whether they are qualified or not is not for you to decide. Moreover, everyone earned their place at Z University on their own rits. What makes you think others are incapable?"
Qin Ruo scoffed, "Did I say sothing wrong? The Student Union wants the best of the best, students who are capable of handling their responsibilities, not just anyone can be chosen. I just hope so people are aware of their own abilities and don’t co to the interviews carelessly, needlessly wasting everyone’s ti."
