At this mont, any more explanations or contradictions seed so pale and powerless.
No matter what he said, it would not change the facts that had already occurred.
It turned out that he was so outrageously wrong that he no longer deserved to be forgiven, did he?
In an instant, Jiang Zhiyi felt as if soone had drained all his strength, his lips turned pale, and his eyes were filled with despondency.
Shen Weiyi felt so compassion.
He wanted to say sothing, but then he saw Jiang Zhiyi suddenly turn around and walk outside.
Shen Weiyi pursed his lips and before he could sort out his tumultuous emotions, he suddenly heard a commotion outside and faintly heard soone shouting, "Soone has fainted!"
With an ominous feeling in his heart, Shen Weiyi couldn’t help but walk out and saw Jiang Zhiyi, who had fainted at the supermarket entrance.
In the school infirmary.
"Doctor, is he alright?"
Shen Weiyi looked worriedly at the figure unconscious on the hospital bed.
After the school doctor finished the examination, he stood up and said, "He probably hasn’t been eating well recently, combined with staying in the high temperatures for a long ti, so he suffered from insufficient cerebral blood supply. It’s nothing serious; he’ll be fine after so IV fluids." He then went to the cabinet to get an IV drip and a bottle.
Hearing that the other party had not been eating properly, Shen Weiyi unconsciously pursed his lips with mixed feelings, then asked, "When can he wake up?"
After the school doctor finished inserting the needle and adjusted the speed of the IV, he continued: "With his condition, he should wake up soon. However, after he wakes up, it would be best to encourage him to eat more. Looking at his condition, it doesn’t seem to be just a day or two’s issue; it might be a mild case of anorexia."
Shen Weiyi felt a jolt in his heart and after staring at Jiang Zhiyi’s pale, emaciated face for a while, he nodded towards the doctor and said, "Okay, thank you, doctor."
Shen Weiyi stayed by the side for a while, and seeing that there was no sign of Jiang Zhiyi waking up, he decided to go to the cafeteria to buy sothing for him to eat.
Leaving the infirmary, he glanced at the ti. A bottle of IV would take about an hour, so he figured he would miss the afternoon military training.
Shen Weiyi called Yan Xiaoyue to tell her that he might not make it in ti for the military training and asked her to help him get a leave of absence.
"What happened? Where are you?" Hearing that he wanted to get a leave, Yan Xiaoyue couldn’t help but ask.
Their instructor was too strict. During the many days of military training, no one had dared to ask for leave. Even the girls who were nstruating still persevered.
"I’m at the infirmary," Shen Weiyi said, "Ran into so trouble, and I might not make it back in ti."
"Are you injured?" Yan Xiaoyue imdiately asked worriedly upon hearing he was at the infirmary.
"It’s not , it’s my friend who fainted!"
"Okay, I’ll talk to the instructor, but our instructor is so demanding, I’m afraid he might give you trouble tomorrow."
"I can’t worry about that now," Shen Weiyi said, "If he asks, just say I’m not feeling well, and I can’t make it in the afternoon."
"Alright! But are you really okay?" Yan Xiaoyue was still worried about him.
"I’m really okay!"
After ending the call, Shen Weiyi went to the cafeteria to pack so food and returned to the infirmary only to discover that Jiang Zhiyi was gone.
Only a third of the IV drip remained on the empty hospital bed.
"Doctor, where is the person who was lying here?" Shen Weiyi asked the school doctor, pointing at the hospital bed.
The school doctor looked up and said, "Huh? He was just here; he might have left on his own." These days because of the heat and the military training, there were a lot of students fainting, so the infirmary was quite crowded.
When exactly Jiang Zhiyi had left, the school doctor hadn’t noticed.
