He had long been dissatisfied with this fellow nad Lin Tao, who had been shalessly pestering Ling Xuejiu and her company. Although he was inclined to drive them away, he feared that doing so might bring unnecessary trouble to the Ling Family, considering that everyone attending the event ca from a background of so significance, and he couldn’t just strike out carelessly.
At this mont, seeing the signal from Ling Xuejiu, Leng Xuan imdiately stood up, walked up to Lin Tao, and said coldly, "Sir, please leave at once."
Lin Tao, already fuming with resentnt, snapped at the sight of Leng Xuan, the bodyguard approaching, "Who are you? What right do you have to tell to go? Get lost, don’t block my view."
Leng Xuan replied firmly, "I am Miss Ling’s bodyguard, and I am responsible for her safety."
"Bodyguard?" Lin Tao sneered dismissively, "What are those staff mbers at the entrance doing, allowing even bodyguards to enter? Is this a place you should be in? I advise you to disappear from my sight imdiately, otherwise, I’ll have soone throw you out, and then, don’t bla for not giving Miss Ling face."
At this ti, the guests in the hall seed to have also noticed the situation on their side, and many cast their gazes over, with quite a few gathering around to watch the spectacle. Ling Xuejiu, upon seeing this, imdiately frowned tightly, utterly disgusted with Lin Tao’s behavior, wishing she could let Leng Xuan teach him a harsh lesson.
Unmoved by Lin Tao’s threat, Leng Xuan stated, "I’ll say it again, get out of here right now, or don’t bla for being rude." His attitude was no longer as accommodating as before; confronting such an arrogant person, being pleasant was useless.
Gao Jun, who had been standing by the side, now whispered to Lin Tao, "Bro Tao, this kid knows so moves. Be careful, don’t push him too far, it wouldn’t be good if you got hurt. Just call the organizers to deal with this."
Lin Tao nodded and summoned a staff mber from the hall, saying, "Please have the organizer remove this bodyguard who trespassed. He didn’t follow the rules and must be severely punished."
Seeing Leng Xuan in a proper suit and of a fine deanor, not resembling the typical stern and stiff bodyguards, the staff mber first confird, "Sir, are you a bodyguard?"
"Correct!" Leng Xuan did not deny but readily admitted, as he saw no need for concealnt.
The staff mber’s expression beca serious imdiately, and he frowned, "If that’s the case, you should know the rules of the reception, no bodyguards are allowed inside the hall, please leave imdiately and wait for your employer outside."
Leng Xuan shook his head, "Sorry, I cannot comply with your request. Also, I don’t understand; although I’m a bodyguard, you let in just now, which was your negligence. Now, what right do you have to ask to leave?"
"Because you’re not qualified," Gao Jun chid in from the side, seizing the chance to kick a man when he’s down, "This place is filled with successful individuals, each prestigious and prominent. Tell , what right does a lowly bodyguard have to stay here?"
Many of the onlooking guests also nodded in agreent, the idea of a nial bodyguard daring to compare himself with them was an insult indeed, and they began voicing their opinions for Leng Xuan to get out promptly, not to continue being an eyesore.
Ling Xuejiu and Li ngjie were instantly filled with indignation, but facing the many critical voices, they had no idea how to respond, regretting that they had allowed Leng Xuan to act earlier.
