"No problem," Zhao Xiaoqing smiled and said, "Dear, then I’ll wait for you tomorrow."
"Okay," Leng Xuan replied, and not long after the phone call ended, there was a knocking sound from outside. He imdiately got up to open the door.
"Cold Bodyguard, what are you up to?" Li ngjie said with a grin upon seeing Leng Xuan.
Leng Xuan said, "Nothing much, has Bei Lanfeng left?"
"Just left. He’s such an annoyance," Li ngjie pouted, expressing her impatience.
With a bitter smile, Leng Xuan was about to speak with Ling Xuejiu about borrowing her car because he needed to take Yurou to the airport the next morning, and he would be going to take care of so matters as well, which ant he’d be late returning to school. He asked, "Where’s Miss Ling?"
Li ngjie answered, "She’s watching TV!"
"Oh!" Leng Xuan then walked out to the living room and glanced at Ling Xuejiu, who was watching TV, and said, "Miss Ling, I’d like to take Yurou to the airport tomorrow morning, and I have so errands to run afterwards, so I might return to school later. Could I borrow your car?"
"Hmm?" Ling Xuejiu also turned to et Leng Xuan’s gaze and unintentionally recalled Xiao Jie ntioning that Leng Xuan was her boyfriend, which made her face flush red. Although she was sowhat reluctant to let Leng Xuan take Yurou, she wasn’t unreasonable. Su Yurou was leaving tomorrow anyway, so why be petty and upset Leng Xuan? It would be better to be generous, so she nodded and said, "Oh, I’ll give you the car key later."
Leng Xuan hadn’t expected Miss Ling to agree so readily and he smiled slightly,saying, "Thank you."

"Ding-dong!" Su Yurou had returned to her villa and after watching TV in the living room, planned to take a shower. But as she stood up, the doorbell suddenly rang, making her heart leap with joy as she murmured, "Could it be Brother Leng Xuan?"
Living alone in the villa, apart from Uncle Zhao, hardly anyone visited her. With Uncle Zhao in the hospital, it couldn’t be him, so who else could it be if not Brother Leng Xuan? She excitedly ran to open the door, but her excitent turned into disappointnt upon seeing that it was not Leng Xuan at the door, but Gao Jun.
"Yurou!" Gao Jun, seeing a healthy and unhard Su Yurou, heaved a sigh of relief and said, "It’s great that you’re okay; I was so worried!"
Yurou didn’t imdiately respond; she hesitated before asking, "Gao Jun, did you co here for sothing?"
"Hmm~!" Gao Jun forced a smile and said, "Aren’t you going to invite in to sit?"
"Co in." No matter what, Gao Jun had treated her well over the last two years. Although Gao Xu had almost killed her, Su Yurou still believed Gao Jun to be a decent person, hardly soone who would have known about the incident beforehand. Thus, it wasn’t right to redirect her anger towards Gao Jun, and she invited him in.
After they sat down on the sofa in the living room, Gao Jun said, "Yurou, I ca here for two reasons: first, to check on you, and second, to apologize."
Su Yurou looked at Gao Jun but didn’t speak.
Gao Jun sighed and continued, "Yurou, I already found out about Gao Xu hiring soone to ram you with a car. But I swear to heaven, I had no prior knowledge of the incident. If I am lying, may thunder..."
