"Cold Bodyguard, have you been waiting long?" After getting in the car, Li ngjie looked at Leng Xuan with a giggly smile, seemingly very happy. She didn’t wait for Leng Xuan to speak before she explained why she and Ling Xuejiu were late.

Leng Xuan smiled and said, "It seems there’s not much food at ho. How about we go and buy so groceries when we get back?"
"Can’t you go buy them yourself?" Ling Xuejiu pouted and said indifferently.
Leng Xuan was taken aback. The last few tis they went grocery shopping, both young ladies had taken the initiative to go with him, so his suggestion to buy so groceries was quite natural. But he didn’t expect Ling Xuejiu to react as if she were very angry.
However, Leng Xuan didn’t take it too seriously because he had long been familiar with Ling Xuejiu’s heiress temperant. Leng Xuan was startled, thinking to himself, if even you don’t know, how could I possibly know? Shaking his head, he said, "She might just be in a bad mood. Why don’t you keep her company? I can handle the grocery shopping alone."
"Alright then." Li ngjie was also worried that Ling Xuejiu might be unhappy about sothing, so she didn’t go grocery shopping with Leng Xuan.
On his way to buy groceries, Leng Xuan passed by Su Yurou’s villa. Rembering that Yurou was leaving tomorrow, he couldn’t help but pause and was about to send a ssage to ask what she was doing. Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through the middle finger of his left hand. Startled, he looked at his left hand and saw that the Dragon Ring had automatically appeared. Then, an ominous feeling rose in the depths of his heart.
This had happened to Leng Xuan once before, coincidentally during Su Yurou’s kidnapping. So he quickly associated the pain with the possibility of sothing bad happening. He took out his phone, scrolled through his contacts to Su Yurou’s number, and dialed. After a few rings, soone picked up. The voice on the other end was a girl’s, but it wasn’t Su Yurou: "Hello, are you a relative of Su Yurou? She’s had an accident."
