When Bei Yin had previously heard Mada Ren ntion Ling Xuejiu’s bodyguard over the phone, she didn’t think much of it. It was quite normal for children of wealthy families to have personal bodyguards. However, when she saw the bodyguard in person, she found it a bit strange because she had not expected Miss Ling’s bodyguard to be so young and also so handso and refined. Ling Xuejiu exclaid admiringly, "That’s impressive! You must take good care of Leng Xuan then. His sleepwalking at night is really quite scary."
Bei Yin nodded with a smile and then turned to Leng Xuan, saying, "Let’s go to your room."
Before Leng Xuan could speak, Li ngjie said, "Why do we need to go to the room? Can’t we do it here?"

Bei Yin knew that Li ngjie was intentionally trying to provoke her. It seed that she was still angry about the relentless pursuit from Bei Yin’s brother years ago. "Alright, Leng Xuan, you go ahead with Sister Bei to the room," said Ling Xuejiu.
Leng Xuan responded with an "Okay" and then followed Bei Yin into his room.
After Bei Yin closed the door, she glanced around casually, then said to Leng Xuan, "Alright, just lie down on the bed."
Leng Xuan found it amusing internally, as she seed to really take him for a sleepwalker. However, on the surface, he maintained a serious deanor, nodded, and as instructed, laid down on the bed.
