Is it because I’m too lonely?

Or is it the alcohol that’s muddled my mind?

Or could it be that I’ve actually developed a bit of a fondness for this student?

Thinking of this, I couldn’t help but recall Leng Xuan’s unique aura that seed completely at odds with his age, as if he were a haven from the storm, where I could moor and no longer worry about the tempests brewing outside!

It’s such an illusory feeling, one that Pang Shanshan couldn’t begin to explain!

The night wind blew in through the window, gently tugging at the locks of hair by the beautiful class advisor’s temples, while the milky moonlight tenderly spilled onto her hair and face, casting her lovely visage in an otherworldly glow reminiscent of jade ice and snow. It was truly enchanting, yet within that charm seed to lie a thread of poignant beauty...

Since it was nightti, and the school was deserted, Leng Xuan had no choice but to walk. Fortunately, the teacher’s dormitory wasn’t too far from the school gate—it took only about fifteen minutes to walk out. Rembering that the two young ladies were waiting at ho for him to bring back so late-night snacks, he bought so barbecue from a shop outside the school and then hailed a taxi to Imperial Scenery Garden.

It was around ten forty in the evening. Ling Xuejiu and Li ngjie were sitting on the couch watching TV. Glancing at the ti on her phone, Li ngjie couldn’t help but complain, "How has the Cold Bodyguard not returned yet, hmph, I wonder if he’s out on a date with so little vixen?"

Upon hearing this, Ling Xuejiu suddenly felt uncomfortable. Rising to her feet, she slipped on a pair of slippers and prepared to head upstairs.

Li ngjie was taken aback and asked, "Xue Jiu, where are you going?"

Ling Xuejiu pursed her lips and said irritably, "To sleep!"

"Weren’t you looking forward to a late-night snack? It looks like the Cold Bodyguard will be back soon..." Li ngjie suddenly thought of sothing, chuckled slyly, and said, "Xue Jiu, are you jealous?"

Ling Xuejiu glared at Li ngjie and retorted irritably, "You silly girl, stop talking nonsense. I’ve told you a hundred tis that I don’t like Leng Xuan, how could I possibly be jealous of him?"

"Hm~!" Li ngjie giggled and said, "Xue Jiu, I only asked if you were jealous, I never said you were jealous of the Cold Bodyguard, why did you imdiately think of him? Hehe!"

Ling Xuejiu paused, and though she knew that Li ngjie was referring to Leng Xuan, that girl hadn’t explicitly ntioned Leng Xuan’s na. This smart-alecky comnt had caught her in a small trap and it seed like this was not going to end well. With a snort, she decided she couldn’t be bothered to argue anymore and was about to go upstairs when suddenly, with a soft click, Leng Xuan used his key to open the door of the villa and walked in.

"Cold Bodyguard!" Seeing Leng Xuan return, Li ngjie imdiately slipped on a pair of slippers and ran over, smiling, "Cold Bodyguard, you’re finally back. What’s that you’re carrying, the late-night snack you got for and Xue Jiu? Let see what delicious food it is?" As she spoke, she had already trotted over to Leng Xuan, took the bag from his left hand, and opening it, couldn’t help but exclaim, "It’s barbecue, hee hee, I just love barbecue. But it seems like Xue Jiu doesn’t eat this..."

Leng Xuan gave a brief awkward sound, glanced at Ling Xuejiu, and said sowhat apologetically, "The young miss doesn’t like barbecue? Hehe, well then, what to do?"
