Leng Xuan’s speed and fashion sense in picking clothes seed to surprise Pang Shanshan a bit, as he casually glanced at a few items and selected two casual outfits, tried them on, and they fit perfectly. Not only did Pang Shanshan watch in a bit of a daze, but even the beautiful saleswoman couldn’t help but feel a little heart movent. This was not to say that Leng Xuan was particularly handso, but rather that he had a very unique aura about him. After changing into fitted clothes, this aura was even more prominently displayed.
In fact, Leng Xuan’s aura had gradually changed with the cultivation of the Defying Heaven Art. If it had to be described in four words, it would be "above worldly transcendence". Of course, this was still only a process of transformation!
Pang Shanshan glanced at the sneakers Leng Xuan wore on his feet. Though still relatively clean, it was apparent that they had been worn for several years. Consequently, she picked out a pair of white leather shoes for him. Coupled with a set of white casual clothes, he looked like a handso young man who had stepped out of a cartoon.
When it ca to paying, Leng Xuan pulled out a wallet he had casually bought for ten yuan at a street stall while visiting Zhou Jingpeng’s house at noon. He looked at the saleswoman and asked, "How much for these two sets of clothes and that pair of shoes?"
Pang Shanshan paused for a mont. In her mory, Leng Xuan didn’t seem like a generous person. Like last ti, she was planning to bring him to buy clothes, and he had said he couldn’t co because of sothing else, yet he directly asked her for two thousand yuan. This ti, why had he beco so generous? Hadn’t they agreed that she would pay for him?
"The total is one thousand five hundred and eighty yuan!" the saleswoman said.
Leng Xuan responded with a simple "Oh" and turned to Pang Shanshan, "One thousand five hundred and eighty divided by two equals seven hundred and ninety. Let’s split it between us, half each."
Pang Shanshan was both irritated and amused, realizing that Leng Xuan wasn’t rushing to pay but wanted her to pay half because she had previously said she would buy him clothes. So, when he bought two sets, he expected her to share the cost. Thinking this, she pouted slightly, took out a credit card, and handed it to the saleswoman, saying, "Put it all on my account then."
The saleswoman gave the two a curious look, "siblings" as they seed, but said nothing more and simply took the card.
Leng Xuan actually felt a bit embarrassed. He was a relatively principled person, with Pang Shanshan buying him one outfit as a reward, but buying an extra one counted as a favor and left him sowhat hesitant.
After they had paid, Leng Xuan went to the changing room and put on the new clothes and shoes, but he didn’t have the heart to discard the old ones. Instead, he asked the saleswoman to bag them up, and he carried them.
Pang Shanshan looked at Leng Xuan’s hairstyle, checked the ti, and then suggested, "It’s still early, why don’t you get a haircut?" Adding, "I’ll pay!"
Leng Xuan wiped away a bit of sweat. In fact, he had been thinking about getting a haircut for a while, so he agreed, "Alright then, but this ti you don’t need to pay. I’ll take care of it myself!"
Pang Shanshan just smiled and said nothing. After all, a haircut wouldn’t cost much.
Accordingly, the two left the shopping mall and headed straight to a nearby barbershop. The barber followed Leng Xuan’s instructions, trimming his hair a little shorter and thinning it out, so the whole process took only about ten minutes to complete.
After the haircut, Leng Xuan’s overall image indeed exuded a refreshing and bright appearance. Pang Shanshan looked very satisfied and chuckled, "Not bad, little brother. You look a lot more handso than before."
