Chapter 686: Chapter 689: Tax on Boasting Chapter 686: Chapter 689: Tax on Boasting Everyone seed to be in high spirits.

“Alright, next up, we have an unknown boxer from China,” the man burst into laughter.

The crowd stood up, but there was no sign of a man from China in the ring.

“Where is he? Where is the boxer from China?” the man shouted again, seeing that no one had appeared.

“Xiao Han, it’s your turn to enter,” Mo Shaocong turned his head and looked at Xiao Han.

Xiao Han didn’t say a word. He just stood up and walked slowly towards the ring.

He reached the middle and then crossed over the barrier.

He walked to the center, then cracked a slight smile and said, “I am that unknown boxer from China.”

“Haha…” The man laughed uproariously, grinned, and said, “You? You can still regret this and leave now, otherwise, once the match starts, it’s to the death. Are you scared?”

“Not scared,” Xiao Han shook his head and continued, “Besides, this guy is no match for .”

“Ah…” The man laughed even harder, “Kid, this isn’t China, and boasting can cost you dearly here.”

Xiao Han gave the man a disdainful glance and said, “You can go now, just leave him behind.”

“Fine!” The man nodded.

As he was leaving, the man warned, “Listen well, our boss said that if you don’t win today, none of your friends will be able to leave, and that girl nad Xiao Wu will officially beco our boss’s woman. Keep that in mind.”

After finishing his words, the man turned and left.

At the forefront of the VIP area, Xiao Han saw the VIP area ford by a set of sofas. He imdiately spotted the scar-faced man he had seen in the office that day, sitting beside him was a girl in red—a stunningly beautiful girl. And on the opposite side, there was Wen Xiaobao, Master Wen. Wen Xiaobao was bound with ropes and seed to have endured so hardship.

Wen Xiaobao was looking at Xiao Han with eyes full of tension.

If Xiao Han won the fight today, he could safely leave with Xiao Wu. If he lost, he feared he would lose Xiao Wu forever. Money was not an issue for him; he would have used all his wealth to buy Xiao Wu’s freedom if he could. Unfortunately, the other party was unwilling to accept money and insisted on fighting a duel, which he had to win.

Therefore, Wen Xiaobao placed all his hopes on Xiao Han. Though he thought Xiao Han’s chances of winning were slim, there was no other option besides counting on him now.

The black man Slick took a serious look at Xiao Han, noting his delicate skin and fair complexion.

“Heh, heh, you should be my boy toy,” Slick said, sticking out his tongue and licking his thick lips.

“Fuck!” Xiao Han almost threw up when he heard that and cursed, “You’re actually gay.”

“Homosexuality is the most perfect existence in this world,” Slick said with a chuckle, then asserted, “Heterosexuals should all die, treated like heretics.”

“Damn, what a moron,” Xiao Han didn’t hesitate to curse back.

Slick wasn’t offended, but just gave Xiao Han a silly grin.

At that mont, the match officially began with the call from outside the arena.

A wicked smile crept across Slick’s lips, as he contemplated how to deal with Xiao Han. Of course, he found Xiao Han handso and attractive, so he decided not to kill him but instead aid to knock him down quickly.

“Make your move,” Xiao Han looked at the other party.

“Heh, heh…” Slick chuckled and said, “Then I shall make my move.”

With that, Slick charged quickly towards him.

His speed was incredible!

That was Xiao Han’s first impression.

As Slick charged, he twisted his body, his long legs swiftly sweeping towards Xiao Han. He spun in mid-air, aiming a vicious kick at Xiao Han.

The kick was ferocious and powerful, both in strength and speed.

If an ordinary person were to face it, they probably wouldn’t be able to take the hit. But Xiao Han was no ordinary person.

Seeing Slick’s killing move from afar, Xiao Han was not afraid. Instead, he was utterly calm.

As Slick rushed over, Xiao Han suddenly leaped into the air. His right leg twisted in mid-air before savagely kicking towards his opponent.

Boom…

Xiao Han’s calculation was precise; his right foot fiercely connected with the outside of Slick’s thigh. The impact sent Slick to the ground, forcing him to retreat several steps. Frowning, he said, “It seems I’ve underestimated you.”

“Not only have you underestimated , but you’ve also underestimated Chinese Kung Fu,” Xiao Han retorted with disdain.

A smirk ford on Xiao Han’s lips, a triumphant grin.

From the opponent’s first move, Xiao Han could gauge Slick’s approximate strength. Thus, Xiao Han had a rough judgnt in his mind. The opponent’s strength was entirely within his control. This left Xiao Han feeling very calm.

“Really?” Slick sneered, “I kill so many people each year who claim they’ve learned Chinese Kung Fu.”

“Those people are all just showy with no substance,” Xiao Han dismissed, then added, “Real practitioners of Chinese Kung Fu wouldn’t publicize it. Those are the true masters.”

“So you’re saying you also don’t know Chinese Kung Fu, you’re just another showpiece, right?” Slick was clever, he turned Xiao Han’s argunt back on him.

Xiao Han smiled frankly, “Yes, I indeed do not know authentic Chinese Kung Fu, I only learned half of it. But that half is more than enough to handle you, understand?”

Slick frowned, snorted coldly, then said, “Is that so? Then bring it on, let see what you’re capable of!”

“Alright.” Xiao Han nodded and declared, “Then I’ll show you what real Chinese Kung Fu is.”

Without a sound, Xiao Han silently summoned a Yin Spirit.

A Yin Spirit’s strength was limited, but it was enough to restrain Slick.

The Yin Spirit took the form of a dark mist spreading through the air. Although the venue was brightly lit, the Yin Spirit’s presence was completely invisible.

Only Xiao Han could sense where the Yin Spirit was. An eerie smile curled up on the corners of his mouth.

Without a mont’s hesitation, he charged forward.

“Ah… ah…” Slick panicked, suddenly finding his hands couldn’t budge.

Thump…

Xiao Han leaped ters away, his legs fiercely kicking towards Slick’s chest. Slick was sent flying, crashing heavily against the railing.

Whoosh…

A murmur rose from the crowd.

Half of the audience on the stands even stood up in unison, every single person looking shocked as they stared at the stage not far away, utterly astounded.

Slick was a veteran of this fighting ring, undefeated and invincible. To this day, he had never tasted defeat, completely embodying an idol in everyone’s eyes, and, moreover, had made a great deal of money for the ring’s owner. In the Northern Myanmar Region, Slick could almost be considered a celebrity. To many, he was akin to a deity. Yet now, this idol, this godlike figure, had been defeated, and beaten in such a sorry state.

“My God, he injured Slick!”

“How… how did he do it?”

The crowd hadn’t even seen clearly how it all happened. All they saw was Slick flying out suddenly, and then getting hurt. Everyone was bewildered and confused.

A group of people appeared extrely shocked.

Slick was also clueless. Just now, he had been sohow restrained by sothing, rendering him immobile, which allowed the other to land a hit. Slick got up, his brow furrowed, and exclaid, “What… what the hell is going on here?”

Xiao Han chuckled, “Are you scared?”

“You’re the one who’s scared!” Slick roared back, “Drop dead.”

After saying that, Slick charged rapidly towards Xiao Han.

Plunk…

However, Slick, having charged only a short distance, suddenly fell flat on his face, tumbling onto the ring and sliding several ters.

Whoosh…

Once again, a murmur swept through the venue, everyone speechless.

“Is Slick deliberately throwing the fight?”

“What on earth is happening?”

The audience was perplexed. Slick’s actions were truly bizarre—when Xiao Han attacked, he didn’t even fight back and got kicked squarely in the chest. Now, he had suddenly fallen of his own accord, with no one seeing whether he tripped over his own feet or not; they just saw him tumbling to the ground and sliding away.

“What’s going on?” Scar-faced man imdiately stood up.

Wen Xiaobao was beside himself with excitent; he hastily turned to his girlfriend and said eagerly, “Xiao Wu, we’re saved, we’re saved.”

“Mhm!” Xiao Wu nodded repeatedly, tears streaming down her face in excitent.

Wen Xiaobao seed extraordinarily thrilled.

“Slick, what on earth is wrong with you?” Scar roared, then declared, “You must kill him today.”

Slick hurriedly nodded.

But inside, he felt as if thousands of grass-mud horses were stampeding past. He scrutinized the ring carefully, suspecting that soone might have rigged sothing. After a thorough inspection, however, he found no trace of any chanism.

“It’s like seeing a ghost,” Slick scowled.

He truly suspected he had seen a ghost. If the first ti was an accident, then how to explain the second ti? Was the second ti also an accident? Slick scratched his head; while he wasn’t injured, this was nevertheless a blow to his pride. The people who ca to watch were here for him. And now, he had shown such a pathetic performance. He really owed the audience an apology.
