Then, they quickly ducked into the fire escape and lay in wait.
Through the crack of the door, Captain Zhang watched the target. Zhang Dakai indeed was a cunning fox. He intentionally rented an empty room, stayed inside for about ten minutes, then opened the door, looked left and right to make sure the hallway was empty, and swiftly exited before entering the elevator.

“You’re here?” In the room, a young man wearing a Duckbill Cap spoke.
“Yeah!” Zhang Dakai nodded and said, “There’s been an incident.”
“Co in and talk.” Duckbill Cap hastily ushered Zhang Dakai inside.
After Zhang Dakai entered, Duckbill Cap looked around at the doorway, then quickly squeezed in. Afterward, the police officers hiding in the fire stairs imdiately ca out. They smirked and said, “The fox finally couldn’t outsmart the hunter.”
At that mont, Captain Zhang ca out of the stairwell: “Where are they?”
“In the third room!” Lao Youtiao exclaid with a grin. “Captain, what should we do?”
“Get the hotel staff to open the door, quickly!” Captain Zhang squinted and said, “Also, load your guns and be ready for action!”
“Yes!” Everyone’s expressions imdiately turned solemn.
After so many years with Captain Zhang, it was the first ti they saw him so tense, even demanding that bullets be loaded. Was this situation truly that alarming? Then, the staff mber walked towards room number three. Reaching the door, he was sweating profusely; he wiped the sweat from his forehead with his sleeve. His gaze was a bit uncertain, feeling like today might be his last day.
He had never seen such a spectacle before, only on TV. On television, police holding guns and drug dealers in hotels would engage in battles, potentially turning the place into a bullet-ridden zone. So, he was quite frightened.
“Is it really safe?” the staff mber took out the room card.
“Don’t worry, just open the door and step aside,” Captain Zhang said.

The guy trying to jump out the window was so frightened that he crouched down, and the three of them were subdued. Captain Zhang entered, took out handcuffs, and imdiately cuffed the man who tried to jump. The guy in the bathroom stubbornly refused to co out.
