Dr. Hall continued to study Sylvester and his alter egos, holding five sessions a week, each lasting three hours. He shared his reports with his senior, Dr. Wright, seeking his guidance after Sylvester had attempted suicide. During this period, Dr. Hall refrained from pressing Sylvester to engage with his other alter egos, allowing him to co to terms with the trauma inflicted by his mother. Sylvester often remained quiet and withdrawn, avoiding interaction with other patients.

anwhile, Ricardo found solace in reading books, a habit that seed to calm him. Agnes spent more ti in the garden, tending to plants and enjoying the peace. Marcello, on the other hand, was indulging himself with ice cream and wandering through the corridors, seemingly carefree.

In one of the sessions, Dr. Hall put Sylvester back under hypnosis and called for Agnes.

"Yes, doctor?" Agnes asked.

"Have you been enjoying your ti in the garden?" Dr. Hall inquired.

She nodded. "I have."

"You rember Lola Taylor, don’t you, Agnes?"

"I do... " Agnes murmured.

"Do you know that Ricardo was the one who killed her?" Dr. Hall asked.

Agnes shook her head. "I didn’t know before..."

"Did you ever have any bad blood with her?"

"Not that I can rember. I gave up the chance to work at the Midnight Club, knowing her life would get better."

"How about Sebastian Daniel? Do you rember him?" Dr. Hall continued, probing into her mories of the victims connected to her.

"I do, he was a good man. We t at a castle in Corby, and he was kind enough to show around."

"But he died," Dr. Hall stated, watching as Agnes fell silent, the weight of her mories apparent in her expression.

"I don’t know why Rick went and killed him. He doesn’t talk about it to , and I don’t know what happens when I go to the dark," Agnes said, her words making Dr. Hall ntally note it down. He then asked,

"Can you elaborate for , please?"

"Like Sylvester, when it cos to Ricardo’s actions, I am blanked out unless he wants there. But most of the ti, he keeps us in the dark. It’s his way of protecting us from the pain that causes us," Agnes revealed. "He is stronger than us."

Dr. Hall understood this, recognising that Sylvester’s personality had only stabilised after Ricardo ca into existence. Ricardo was strong enough to handle not just the burden of the host’s trauma but also the other personalities, turning into the leader.

"Can you recount for what happened that day?" Dr. Hall asked, and she nodded. "Thank you."

"After visiting the castle, we planned to visit a church that Sebastian ntioned had beautiful windows with intricate details, which I was very interested in. We t an acquaintance of his there and spent quite a bit of ti there. Then he took to his art gallery and that was all..."

Agnes’s voice dimd, and her expression began to change as Ricardo erged.

"Agnes can be silly," Ricardo stated. "Lo siento, Dr. Hall. I had to cut in as Agnes forgets that man is dead."

When the prowl of the scarecrow murders was at its peak, Colin Hall had heard and read all about it. The newspapers reported that won were being targeted, making him wonder what hatred the murderer held towards won. Later, it was revealed that two n had also been murdered.

"Can you tell what happened between Agnes and Sebastian?" Dr. Hall asked while sitting opposite Ricardo on the couch. Ricardo began recounting the morning.

"The work at Corby’s Opera House had finished early, and Sylvester, being his utterly boring self with no hobby or interest besides getting back to his room, laid down on the bed. Agnes wanted to go out, to experience being free, and I decided to go along with it. I didn’t see a point in using that ti."

"Why not?" Dr. Hall probed, curious, knowing how Ricardo often took over Sylvester to avoid staying inside.

"Because," Ricardo began, his words slowing down, "Because Jane wasn’t in Corby. Going out was useless, and I wanted Corby to be over. But I should have known that it wouldn’t last, that they were fleeting monts."

"Jane? Who is that?"

A grin spread on Ricardo’s lips as he rembered her. "Hermosa. She was the detective in my case, Jane Reinhart. She was looking for when I was right there before her. Smart, beautiful, and brave. She was unlike any woman I have t, and she knows pain similar to mine. My mother flirted with n and let them touch her during my father’s absence."

"You seem to like her very much," Dr. Hall noted, noting how Ricardo’s features softened at the ntion and thoughts of the woman.

"I do. She’s an amazing woman," Ricardo nodded, wishing she had co to visit him, not Sylvester.

"And how do you feel about her involvent in the case? That she was part of you being captured and sent to prison before coming here?" Dr. Hall wanted to ensure Ricardo’s hatred was contained and not spread beyond its origin with his mother.

"She was doing her job, nothing more or less. Following the law she believes in," Ricardo said, looking down at his fingers, rembering their first eting. He looked up at Dr. Hall. "My ire isn’t directed at people like her."

"That’s good to know, Ricardo. Please continue with what happened in Corby," Dr. Hall prompted, bringing the conversation back on track.

When Agnes woke up two minutes after Sylvester decided to lay down on the bed, she walked over to where he had placed so of the opera house items. These included props, clothes, makeup, and other things under his supervision, all to be picked up by one of the crew mbers the next morning.

Agnes got ready and left for the castle, where she t Sebastian Daniel. They eventually ended up in his family art gallery that was closed that day.

"These are really stunning," Agnes murmured, her eyes fixed on one of the paintings.

"It’s going to be sold soon for a high bid. We expect a lot from it," Sebastian ntioned while they were the only ones inside the gallery. "I want to show you sothing else. Follow ," he said, leading her further into another room. This room was slightly dark, with mirror work on a vase standing at the centre. "What do you think?"

"I think it is wonderful," Agnes smiled, noticing him looking at her without looking away. She smiled shyly, feeling happy to be there and knowing what it felt like to be adored. But then he got too close. "Mr. Daniel," she said, taking a step back from him.

"Don’t be worried, there’s no one but us here. No one to disturb us too," Sebastian said, and he pulled her towards him, pushing his body into hers.

"Please stop!" Agnes shouted in protest, but it fell on deaf ears. While moving away, the vase that was on the stand fell on the floor. "I don’t want this!"

When Sebastian’s hand forced itself between Agnes’s legs, he suddenly froze and pulled away with a look of shock on his face. He whispered, "You are not a woman!"
