Shut Out
The next morning, at 10 o’clock!
An Xiaowan jumped out of her bed imdiately, almost falling to the ground due to her painful and sore body and shaky legs.
“I have an audition at 11, and then I have a job as a double. I will get ready first!” An Xiaowan got up hurriedly before even realizing the serious tone in Susan’s words. She stood up and forced herself to get dressed.
At the other end of the line, Susan paused, finding it hard to continue.
After 10 seconds, she took a deep breath and said, “Xiaowan, you can stop what you are doing now.”
An Xiaowan did not stop her movents as she switched on the speaker mode of her phone.
Susan’s clear voice sounded from the phone. “All of your scheduled jobs have been canceled.”
An Xiaowan’s actions halted suddenly.
“What do you an, Sister Susan?”
Susan pursed her lips as her voice beca slightly hoarse. “In short, you are being shut out by the higher-ups in the industry. No one dares to work with you or even bring up your na.”
Shut out…
An Xiaowan’s face turned deathly pale.
Two years ago, after her scandal broke out, she was abandoned by the industry, nobody dared to hire her, and they all shunned her away. Her scandal spread like wildfire, exaggerating the false accusations against her, making a laughingstock of her.
Yet again, this industry was a forgetful one, as everyone slowly forgets about her scandal, she would be able to vindicate herself and return to the industry.
But the implication of being shut out was totally different!
“Take a look at the link I sent you, that is the video taken during the Nuolan Show.”
An Xiaowan hurriedly clicked onto the link with her trembling fingertips.
A beautiful show venue, smooth video editing, everything seed to be normal, except… she did not appear in the video!
Out of the five sets of large wings that she wore, not even a single one appeared in the video.
She was even missing in the final curtain call.
The scenes where she appeared were completely edited out!
As if she had never appeared in the show.
Susan’s voice cald down, and she spoke again, “Xiaowan, is it An Xue? Or is it the man from yesterday…”
She did not say Huo Shen’s na, even speaking of him seed like a mistake.
“It won’t be An Xue.” An Xiaowan pursed her lips.
An Xiaowan’s first reaction was indeed to suspect An Xue. However, since Huo Shen bought the show, An Xue would not be able to play any tricks.
Hence, it was definitely Huo Shen!
She frowned. Did she make a wrong move?
An Xiaowan looked at her reflection in the mirror, bruises spread all over her body, leaving blue-black traces and her legs too sore and weak to even walk properly. Ripped pieces of fabric were scattered everywhere on the ground as a constant reminder of last night’s events.
Slept with her and still shut her out?

An Xiaowan cald herself and spoke, “Sister Susan, there must be another way.”
Susan shook her head, feeling sympathy for An Xiaowan.
“Huo Shen can control everything, his influence is beyond our reach.”
Susan thought for a mont and said, “Xiaowan, Huo Shen is not soone we can afford to offend. He will have thousands of thods to torture you to your death. With just a word from him, you won’t be able to continue your work, no matter which industry you enter.”
Susan hesitated for a few seconds before speaking her mind. She sighed, “I think you have to plead with him.”
An Xiaowan thought of her goal and nodded silently.
She took the initiative to catch Huo Shen’s attention because of that fat and pervert director, who wanted to buy her off forcefully to fulfill his Sadistic fetishes.
Director Huang had a strong background. If she ended up in his hands, she would end up crippled and damaged even if she remains alive.
The problem was, it was really hard to understand the thoughts of Young Master Huo.
How shaless could Huo Shen be for him to shut her out of the industry after sleeping with her the night before?
An Xiaowan’s only hope was that her pleading convinces Huo Shen.
She was already at her wits’ end.
“Mr. Huo will be at the Dragon Court Clubhouse tomorrow night. It was difficult to get a hold of this information. Now the choice is yours, to go, or not to go.”
