At Gun-Point
An Xiaowan found a good angle, got into a lazy pose, then looked at the cara and clicked a photo.
She made so inconspicuous adjustnts to the color tone and then added a caption:
“Feels so good in the bathtub. After soaking in hot water, it feels so rejuvenating as if my skin is breathing.”
Her lips curled into a smile as she attached the photo and then set its visibility to only Huo Shen. She then submitted the post.
After she posted it, she started feeling bored again.
Reports of Gong Li getting injured were all over Weibo, in the news and various programs. It seed his condition was rather serious.
In one interview, Gong Li was lying in bed amidst a crowd. He still had his handso and dazzling good looks, but his expressions conveying his low spirits.
When he was asked about how he got injured, there was a flicker of anger in his eyes.
The corner of his mouth twitched before he answered, “I was trying to save a dog from a mishap, but I was careless and instead injured myself.” He composed himself a bit before he added. “I will be more careful in the future. Everyone, please don’t worry.”
The journalist queried out of curiosity, “What happened to that dog?”
“Naturally, it is safe and sound now. The heartless little thing just ran off.” Gong Li let out a soft laugh under his breath.

An Xiaowan raised her eyebrows. For the sake of proving she did not just heartlessly ran off, she felt there was a need to pay him a visit.
After making a call to Sister Susan, An Xiaowan snuck into the hospital and onto the floor where Gong Li was warded.
Gong Li’s ward was filled with bouquets of fresh flowers and fruit hampers, and a strong fragrance could be picked up in the air the mont one stepped inside. Gong Li lay on the hospital bed, his handso face ridden with displeasure as if he would escape any ti now.
An Xiaowan knocked on the door and walked in. She had a bouquet in one hand, and crutches in the other.
“So you do know how to visit the person who saved your life?” Gong Li’s face darkened. “Just because of that one pull to save you, here I am, unable to move at all!”
An Xiaowan put the flowers down and smiled, “I’m really sorry.”
Hearing her apology, Gong Li softened a little, but then she laughed and continued, “But your arm deserved a good beating.”
“…” Gong Li instantly beca furious.
An Xiaowan felt a little uncomfortable with the flowery scent overflowing in the ward.
She frowned and said, “Why did you leave all these flowers here?”
Gong Li pinched his nose and shook his head. “I didn’t want to, but the paparazzi would notice if they were brought out of the ward. Who knows where their imagination would lead them.”

When she was considered a murder suspect initially, the dia was relentless in their exaggerations. They boldly portrayed her as a proven murderer. They also conveniently painted her past, saying she had a history of evil-doing and was unpardonable for her cris.
All that the dia had ever wanted was not the truth, but explosive points to create a scandalous article.
4 p.m., Huo Residence
A black Rolls Royce suddenly drove into the Huo family’s front yard.
The butler was stunned. “Young Master Huo.”
Huo Shen was the one driving the car today.
No wonder no one inford them to be on standby.

The butler lowered his head and instantly replied, “Young Master Huo, Ms. An has gone out. We were not aware that you were coming over, so we have not yet asked her to co back.”
“Gone out?”
Huo Shen frowned, his face showing an increase in his annoyance at the news.
A crippled woman should not be running about!
“Where did she go?” Huo Shen asked as he headed upstairs in long strides.
