You Have Nothing To Fear, Wan
An Xue softly held Chen Yinian’s arm. “Brother Yinian, did you hear that? How could she!”
Chen Yinian’s face was drained of color.
At this mont, he felt utterly ashad that he was once An Xiaowan’s fiance.
The rage made his handso and gentle looks turn cold and icy. Even his words beca harsh and cruel. “An Xiaowan, I never thought you would cheapen yourself like this!”
“You never thought? But you seem to have said that to several tis.” She concealed the emotions in her eyes with a bewitching smile. “I suppose there are many things you did not think of.”
A look of disgust flashed across Chen Yinian’s eyes. “Cheap!”
Cheap.
The man who had now beco her ex-fiance, was once her childhood sweetheart with whom she exchanged vows of love, and now he used such a repulsive word for describing her, humiliating her in front of everyone.
She rembered their days together when they were younger, when Chen Yinian would hold her hands and tell her gently with a faint smile, “Don’t be scared, Wan. I will forever be by your side.”
Forever?
What a joke.
“How is it any of your concerns about what I beco?”
She laughed and continued, “Chen Yinian, so what if I’ve got a sugar daddy! It gives more pleasure than being your fiance!”
“Let’s not talk about this anymore.”
An Xue saw that Chen Yinian did not look too good and found the right mont to interject. “No. 7, may I trouble you to retrieve the ball you used just now?”
A smile appeared on her face. “This ball feels right for . I shall have to use it in the ga later on.”
An Xue was obviously trying to embarrass An Xiaowan.
As a caddie, it was naturally An Xiaowan’s duty to help with retrieving balls. An Xue was still not satisfied and added, “I think the buggy has broken down… looks like we will have to trouble you to get that checked out as well, so sorry about that.”
An Xiaowan stood still, the look on her face turning colder with every word An Xue spoke.
Chen Yinian comnted unsympathetically, “My caddie, what are you waiting for?”
The atmosphere beca stiff and rigid.
“Which ball is so precious?” A man’s gleeful voice remarked from a distance, breaking the tension in the air.
Two exquisite looking n got down from a buggy.
“Young Master Lu, Young Master Huo…” An Xue and everyone else present were stunned.
The one who had spoken was Lu Yange.
Lu Yange was walking slightly behind Huo Shen, his wispy light brown hair shining radiantly under the sun. His pair of dreamy eyes were sparkling on that pristine-looking face.
However, what was even more captivating, was the gorgeous gentleman beside him.
He had a royal and majestic deanor, while his graceful and effortless movents exuded an otherworldly aura. The sunlight falling upon his body made his sculpture-worthy looks seem even more delicate.
His eyes were already locked upon An Xiaowan even from a distance, making her feel a searing gaze on her back.
“I would like to have a go with that ball as well,” blurted Huo Shen.
An Xiaowan was stunned for a mont at his deep, captivating, and majestic voice.
In her delight, An Xue hurriedly answered, “Once our partner retrieves the ball, you can try it out, Young Master Huo.”
Huo Shen finally tore his eyes away from An Xiaowan and looked An Xue.
His thin lips stretched into an unsympathetic arc, and even his voice was cold and aloof, “Whoever owns the ball, shall retrieve the ball.”
