One second passed… two seconds passed…

Yu eagerly awaited the changes in his body.

However, even after waiting for a minute, it seed like nothing had changed in his body. He didn't feel any additional special abilities. Feeling disappointed, Yu furrowed his brow and wore a look of dismay.

"It seems like it's not a Devil Fruit after all… I must have been expecting too much."

Letting out a sigh, Yu gazed at the moon in the night sky for a while before shaking his head and preparing to return to his dormitory to sleep.

However, just as he was about to leave, a look of surprise appeared on his face.

"The sky… why does it seem to be bright?!"

At that mont, Yu noticed that the mutant school, which had been dimly lit by faint moonlight, suddenly turned into broad daylight. Although it was dayti, the surrounding light was not the kind of bright light but rather gave a feeling similar to dusk.

Silence engulfed the surroundings, not a single sound to be heard.

Yu furrowed his brow tightly.

This bizarre scene made Yu instantly alert. In this high-risk Marvel world, he wouldn't be too surprised by anything that happened. But this strange change was too peculiar. He began observing his surroundings and noticed a shadow appearing in the distance.

"Hmm?"

Yu stared intently.

The shadow suddenly vanished with a swish, only to reappear right in front of him!

Yu was imdiately startled.

"Who… are you?!"

Yu shouted loudly, bolstering his own courage. But soon, his expression turned astonished because the person before him was none other than himself!

It was soone who looked exactly like him!

"Hello, Yu," the person calmly smiled and said, "I am your Digitized Gene System. Congratulations on successfully activating ."

"What?"

Yu was montarily puzzled. A Digitized Gene System… was it supposed to be like this?

Shouldn't a system appear with a "ding" in his mind? How did it turn into a real person who looked exactly like him?

"To be precise, I am a part of your genes. The system is just a general term for the digitalization of your genes after absorbing mysterious powers," the person explained. "Yu, since I am your genes, naturally, I look exactly like you in your subconscious mind."

The person continued, "Previously, due to your original consciousness not awakening, I was in a dormant state and kept your body in a state of natural subconscious actions."

Yu began to understand sowhat.

So, this so-called "Digitized Gene" had been maintaining the activities of his body before. That's why he didn't have any additional mories about this body because it was originally his own body. It had just beco smaller due to the transmigration and the system.

Although it felt incredible, considering that transmigration had already happened, this wasn't too strange.

Yu wasn't too concerned about this.

Instead, he was more curious about the Devil Fruit, which he had eaten and suspected to be the Glint-Glint Fruit. He probed, "So, that Devil Fruit is real! The Glint-Glint Fruit I ate activated you?!"

"That's right. The Glint-Glint Fruit you ate indeed activated . In fact, it was that mysterious and special Glint-Glint Fruit that caused a Digital mutation in your genes. What you just ate was the final burst of energy from that Glint-Glint Fruit."

"I see…"

Now Yu finally understood.

In summary, that special and mysterious Glint-Glint Fruit had already fused into his body during his transmigration. It possessed the ability to Digitize people's genes, turning them into a system-like existence. What he had just eaten was the last burst of energy from that special Glint-Glint Fruit, which fully activated his Digitized Gene.

No wonder when Professor X discovered him, he said his whole body was in a shining, elentalized state. At that ti, his genes were probably undergoing fusion with that special, mysterious Glint-Glint Fruit, resulting in the mutation.

"So, what exactly could I do with this Digitized Gene?" Yu pondered and asked. "And why did the sky suddenly beco bright?"

"Currently, you were in a dinsional space ford by your Digitized Gene. It isn't the real world," the person replied. "Your consciousness was connected to this space. As long as you continuously rged with special objects possessing powers, you could strengthen your genes endlessly, allowing the basic abilities of your fruit to be infinitely enhanced. Moreover, due to the existence of this Digitized gene dinsional space, you could shield yourself from the perception of all telepaths."

"I see… So, that ans I could now use the abilities of the Glint-Glint Fruit?" Yu said.

"Correct. As long as your consciousness returned to your physical body, you could use your abilities."

Upon hearing this, Yu's face filled with joy. He took a deep breath, without any hesitation, and exerted effort to regain control of his consciousness. He was eager to try out his abilities, no matter what, he wanted to confirm it first.

With a swoosh!

Yu felt his surroundings darken, realizing that he had indeed returned to a pitch-black school garden illuminated only by faint moonlight.

At the sa ti, he tested lifting his foot and moving his body.

Swoosh!

Suddenly, as if a flash of light passed by!

The next mont, Yu found himself leaving the small garden and crossing a small lake in a straight line, arriving on the other side!

"Exactly as I thought! A movent speed like light!" (T/N: I know that Kizaru can't move at the speed of light, but I'm not the author xD)

Seeing this, Yu's expression was filled with complete delight.
