Kai Zheng was about to say sothing when his shoulders were suddenly wrapped by his brother's arm who decided to pull him away while apologizing. Kai Zi whispered through gritted teeth, "Don't you fuckin dare start shit with him. I ain't going to a fuckin ntal hospital for you, do you hear ?"
Kai Zheng who wasn't in the loop didn't know that the Qie and Zhao family's fall wasn't coincidental. One of them had the balls to lay a hand on Wen Qinxi and the entire empire ca tumbling down like Jenga and he, Kai Zi, was the instigator. He invited Qie Anzhie to act against Wen Qinxi and this happened.
This is why he hurried over when he heard his stupid older brother had co over to the launch of Flagship. If that wolf was to catch his brother trying to flirt with Wen Qinxi then they might as well sell all their assets, take so cash and go on the run.
What he didn't know was that it was already too late. His brother had struck the matchstick and accidentally dropped it in a gasoline tank. As to the one who was about to be flirted with, he was busy drinking expensive champagne with zero awareness.
He had been talking ceaselessly about Flagship all night that his throat felt dry. It was like trying to explain technology to kindergarteners who have no idea what is Bluetooth. He ended up having to explain the basic workings of a CPU first before going into detail about what Flagship was all about which was tiring and ti-consuming.
Wen Qinxi sat down at an isolated part of the hall while watching Qie Ranzhe from a distance with a smile in his eyes. It seed Qie Ranzhe felt his gaze because he turned around and made a kissing gesture with his lips before smiling gently.
If he hadn't had to bribe his uncle into giving him his private island he would much prefer to be with his lover. Since it was a surprise he didn't want to spoil it for Wen Qinxi so he had soone accompany him.
Wen Qinxi chuckled and both of them looked away a little bashful. It was then he felt a shadow towering over him as a rosy scent assaulted his senses. He raised his head only to find soone very familiar to him standing before him.
"You know he traded a rare Sailor Luna card with so that I could stay as far away from you as possible? Haha, you should have seen how jealous he was when he found out you liked . Fun tis, isn't it? Anyway, it's a pleasure to finally see you again."
Hmm, I wonder who could this person be? Any guesses?
