Research confirms that a glass of red wine at the end of each day can de-stress your mind while relaxing your muscles relieving your body of all the knots and tangles brought by daily activities. But a certain soone twisted the research abusing alcohol for three days straight. The culprit was none other than Wen Qinxi the sweet nerd who hadn't touched a drop of alcohol ever since he entered the ga. The bandit incident had blindsided him shaking his core to the point of drowning his failures in alcohol.
That day Wen Qinxi had Lin Mingxu buy him six jars of the infamous red wine known as the Venomous Dragon. It was well-known for its savagely bitter yet fruity tang deterring a lot of people from drinking it as they associated it with the feeling of drinking poison, the kind of poison that left a bad taste in your mouth. Though it tastes horrible it made up for it in such a way that when it hit it hit hard making one drunk to the point of not recognizing their own mother. On the pretence of dealing with trauma, Wen Qinxi managed to evade Master Lin's keen eye and locked himself in his room heavily indulging in grown-up stuff.
He not only drunk but had a feast at Master Lin's expense with Lin Mingxu smuggling juicy roasted at only to be kicked out as soon as he had delivered the goods. Master Lin had initially been understanding of what his son was going through but when the quantity of at suddenly reduced on his dinner table, he beca suspicious interrogating Lin Mingxu on the third night while holding a pathetic looking pork chop that was more fat than at.
After the day of the incident, Jolie wanted to intervene but was imdiately shunned by Wen Qinxi and watched him wallow in self-pity wailing from ti to ti saying words like 'failed' and 'KO'. The system couldn't take this anymore especially when Qie Ranzhe was starting to beco restless assuming that Lin Jingxie didn't want him anymore. At this rate, Jolie feared the blackened prince would rock up in Wen Qinxi's room and do so crazy shit like holding this drunkard hostage. If such a situation happened then it would truly be ga over for all of them.
Unable to bear watching a shabby looking Wen Qinxi slouching like a dead fish, the system finally had a heart to heart talk with him. He was currently seated on the floor with his back lazily leaning against the bed, his legs spread out flat on the floor. This scene was unsightly with his hair in a total ss while hugging a jar of Venomous Dragon and a half-eaten drumstick in the other hand watching a series that the system had played for him to coax him.
"Boss its been three days already, don't you want to visit Qie Ranzhe?" said Jolie easing into the topic.
Wen Qinxi drunkenly dismissively waved his hand in a sneer, "l am taking leave the boys will take good care of him." In truth, Wen Qinxi was feeling like the world's greatest loser especially being the only one who Qie Ranzhe had allowed to stay in the ga.
He had worked hard with the aim of helping bring his boss back to the real world but screwed up failing the first world despite all his efforts. His hard work was all for nought unexpectedly speeding up Qie Ranzhe's blackening which he didn't intend on happening in the first place. A blackened Qie Ranzhe would be extrely hard to manage as Wen Qinxi couldn't watch him 24/7. To him, this plot was already stirring back to its original sequence leading Qie Ranzhe back into being a genocidal manic which would ultimately lead to his death hence restarting this world all over again.
He seriously contemplated on just killing himself and hopefully start the ga all over again. The only problem was that he would have to wait for Qie Ranzhe to go through the full cycle of the first world till his death so as to restart the ga. This reason deterred him from taking such a grueso path that is up until he ca up with another heinous plan. "Uh-huh! I got it. Ho-how about a double suicide?" he thought outloud causing the system to shudder. This route wasn't beneficial to both parties especially the system. 'Don't fuck with my money Qi-ge,' thought the system before attempting to salvage the sinking ship.
"Actually all you need to do is show him how to ta his anger, trust it on this. It will help you salvage this ss....Here," said the system pausing the episode Wen Qinxi was watching before showing him a couple of mantras to calm anger, "these can help him ditate and learn to exercise restraint."
Wen Qinxi's sluggish bloodshot eyes struggled to see what was in front him with an inquisitive expression. "Li-like the um.....the um.....um....the Dr who turns into a green guy when angry?" he stamred with a serious brooding countenance as though struggling to rember the character's na.
Jolie, "....." It was astonished that the nerd actually forgot one of his favourite superheroes just like that. It added another warning label on the Venomous Dragon which was 'warning affects brain function inciting stupidity' before coaxing him further.
"Yes, like that guy. It's not over yet so don't give up," said Jolie in the most gentle coaxing tone it could voice out.
Wen Qinxi suddenly wailed with no tears saying, "Wuwuwuwuwu why wuwuwuwu....did l fuckin owe him money in my past life," while tossing the jar but to his disappointnt, the jar was so strong it just bounced off the floor and didn't break, "wuwuwuwu even the jar is plotting against ."
'Why you? Hahaha, because you fucking love money too much,' secretly mocked the system while adding weird tantrums on the warning label.
