A surge of pesky pregnancy hormones erupted out of nowhere jabbing at Wen Qinxi's mood as though a switch had been flipped as soon as he found out he was expecting. He didn't really know how to feel when a waves of emotion were creeping up on him one after the other. In that ten minute journey to UPSF headquarters he had gone through an angry, teary and denial phase. By the ti he reached their headquarters he was back at the angry phase bulldozing his way into the Marshal's office but fortunately for the Marshal he wasn't in the office arranging security forces for Princess Zhao Huangzhi's wedding taking place tonight.
Wen Qinxi wanted to go after Qie Ranzhe where ever he was but changed his mind sending a single ssage while heading to his pavilion but soon regretted it once it was already sent out.

To his defense this was his hormones talking, they actually had been talking for more than a week but he brushed off his mood swings as part of his hot headed nature. Wen Qinxi spend the rest of the day assigning tasks to the rest of Xianxi team. Today was an important day as the emperor had purposefully invited the wolf pack into the bear cave. There was bound to be a fight as there was a high chance Nibiru would make it's move as soon as the nuptials were over and done with.
Wen Qinxi knew Nibiru's emperor wouldn't bring their entire force to the wedding procession but they would surely bring the best of the best to achieve their goal so he had his team watching every single one of Nibiru's security forces outside the palace. For those in the palace they would be the Marshal's problem. He only managed to relax when he was certain he had covered all his basis but two blocks away soone was panicking when he saw Zhao Xieshu's ssage.
With trembling hands he re-read that ssage five tis but he wasn't mistaken. Zhao Xieshu was pregnant and he didn't know if his oga was angry with him or not. In a single mont he felt panicked, anxious, shock and numbness all at the sa ti. He opened Zhao Xieshu's contact profile but his hesitated for a mont whether to call him or not afraid to know the answer. After so toughening he finally requested a video call and sure enough Zhao Xieshu didn't accept imdiately.
It took him three tries to get a hold of the prince but even then he didn't know what to say only calling out to him. "Baby," he called out his tone wan and uncertain. Of course, he wanted to be happy in this mont and let the whole world know but his happiness was barricaded with his concern for Zhao Xieshu. He knew his man feared pain the most and wouldn't want this but as fate would have it they found themselves in this situation.
Wen Qinxi could feel the anxiety emitted from the Marshal through the communicator making his heart ache. He obviously didn't want to have a baby in ga or otherwise because he was a man and n don't fall pregnant but what the fuck was he supposed to do now? It wasn't on purpose so why cause trouble? He might not get used to it as yet but there was no point in getting angry so he said, "Co ho as soon as you are done so we can talk," while looking for the perfect outfit to send off Zhao Huangzhi out of their lives.
Qie Ranzhe was taken by surprise and couldn't even hide his reaction asking, "Baby, you are not angry with ?"
Wen Qinxi snickered within finding the Marshal cute in this mont. Why would he think he was angry with him when it wasn't on purpose. 'The sex was so fuckin good that the universe just had to correct itself,' he thought wondering how Qie Ranzhe would react when he finally woke up in the real world.
"I will be angry at you if you don't co back early," replied Wen Qinxi with his back facing the communicator concealing the smile on his face.
"Zhao Xieshu," called out Qie Ranzhe prompting Wen Qinxi too face the communicator, "I love you so much."
Wen Qinxi's felt a gust of emotion wail up in him at Qie Ranzhe's words. He felt a lump stuck on his throat as he held back the tears but in the end he failed with one backstabbing tear streaming down his cheek.
"Shit!" he swore cutting the video call imdiately as the water works began. But he didn't even get to cry to his heart's content as his mont was interrupted by three busybodies, the grandmasters of wrong timing.
"Qi-ge you are having a fuckin baby with the CEO? How the fuck did that happen?" asked Hei Bao who apparently found out as soon as they arrived for work this morning. He had been calmly sipping on his cup of coffee when Jolie broke the news all excited looking for the doctor to get its money. Yes, Jolie bet that this exact sa situation would occur and talked Machu into placing a bet but of course it wouldn't be stupid enough to let Wen Qinxi find out.
Hei Bao almost burnt his tongue on his scolding cup of coffee while Xia Bai couldn't help but be impressed by Wen Qinxi's progress. The guy had managed to seduce his unconscious boss to the point of having an in ga baby.
"Did you two actually do it like.....actually actually do it?" curiously asked Xia Bai standing intimately close to Hei Bao with their fingers brushing aganist each other.
Wen Qinxi, "....."
"Wait Gecko, how did Ran-ge take it?" asked Machu but instead of a response he got a system notification.
"Communication channel severed. Please try again later," said an automated voice disappointing the three individuals.
"I lost my fuckin money over this," said Machu while making a transfer to Wen Qinxi's account.
While the doctor was crying over his loses Xia Bai was staring at Hei Bao with a gaze that revealed a deep attraction making Hei Bao's heart skip a beat. "Do you want to play in the interstellar world when the ga gets released?" asked Xia Bai already imagining pressing Hei Bao down
"Yeah, will get to blow up stuff. That sounds fun," replied Hei Bao completely missing the point.
"Sure, sure," said Xia Bai with a roguish smile before walking over to his work station leaving behind a vexed Hei Bao. Just now his heart leapt up being looked at this way by Xia Bai but couldn't comprehend why thus his vexation.
