After losing to the Marshal, Wen Qinxi had to go through a lot of ntal preparation, not that it helped. He had to accept the reality that soday in the not so distant future Qie Ranzhe will not only poke his rather small oga parts but also bite so gland behind his neck.
Whenever he thought about it he would get a headache contemplating on whether he should die a painless death in the ga and just start over just to avoid this but it wouldn't work because Qie Ranzhe would still co after him.
These thoughts worsened when the announcent of his engagent with the Marshal got released to the entire universe. The topic instantly beca a hot search, a trending topic that everywhere he looked it was about him and the Marshal which was t with mixed emotions by the entire universe.
With all this happening, Wen Qinxi had to distract himself with sothing so he set off to search at the three possible locations in the distant universe for the rest of the pilgrimage spaceship. Xiao Hua, Tong, Teng and Hauidan jumped at the opportunity to go with him into deep space and they had already been away for an entire week. They had searched two locations but ca up empty handed and were heading to the last location when Wen Qinxi received a ssage from the Marshal.
The two had been communicating through ssages for the entire week but whenever Qie Ranzhe asked to see him, the prince would claim he was busy. At first he didn't think much of it but after days of being rejected, Qie Ranzhe began to worry that Zhao Xieshu was having cold feet hence the ssage he sent to him.

Wen Qinxi felt his heart lt into a puddle grinning from ear to ear. He had dated before but he was usually the one to send sweet nothings to the girl and never knew those sweet nothings felt so good. With the tips of his ears hot he pursed his lips into a straight line concealing a silly smile while replying to the Marshal.

Qie Ranzhe was inspecting the armory in UPSF base when he received a notification. His face was expressionless but his heart was leaping with joy as he sort out an opportunity to open the ssage. If he had a tail he would be doing a full-body tail wag in full view of his subordinates.
But when he read Zhao Xieshu's ssage his heart sank, it was another rejection yet again. Frustrated he pinched in-between his brows before deciding to initiate a video call. Maybe when Zhao Xieshu sees him he would realise he missed him and want to see him too. With that in mind, he called Zhao Xieshu but it took ages for the oga to finally accept his request.
He was soon faced by Zhao Xieshu's dewy skin and reddish pink full lips that seed to be calling out to him. His enticing handso features were amplified by his preened blonde hair. Faced with such a magnificent sight, Qie Ranzhe found his throat dry almost forgetting what he wanted to say. His heart stirred ogling at the person he yearned to see but he soon felt dejected when he recalled how long it took for Zhao Xieshu to accept his video call. Did Zhao Xieshu not miss him?
Three minutes ago, Wen Qinxi who had suddenly received a video call request almost fell off his chair cursing, "Shit!" recalling how ugly he looked right now. He had been chasing after a stowaway funny looking rat-like creature that entered the warship on the last planet they visited. For two days straight they were tornted by that annoying squeaks in the vents that made it impossible to sleep.
The final straw was when Hauidan found a hole on his favorite jacket so everyone went searching while setting traps all over the warship.
They did manage to catch the little sucker in the end but the creature was in a vent which only Zhao Xieshu could fit in. Actually, he wasn't the only who could fit in the vent but Teng and Tong were so terrified of rodents that they shoved Zhao Xieshu into the vent thinking they were safe. By the ti Wen Qinxi reacted it was already too late with no other way but to go forward.
After encountering dust while crawling in the vent he finally found that vile creature with its hind leg kicking air while taking its last breath. By the ti he ca out his face and hair were so dirty and to make matters worse the ones who pushed him into the vent were poking fun at him.Tired of being made fun of Wen Qinxi gave the now dead rodent to Hauidan asking him to take revenge for him.
Yah, he was too important to take his own revenge. He could just hire soone to do it for him. The screams and shrieks of Teng and Tong were music to his ears enjoying his mont of bliss while seated in the Captain's chair.
It was then that he received the Marshal's ssage jolting him out of his trance but he never thought Qie Ranzhe would initiate a video call. Dropping everything he ran to his cabin and spruced his top half up as thats what would appear in the view of the Marshal. This was the reason why he took ti to accept the video call completely unaware that he had been misunderstood.
Qie Ranzhe was still in the noisy armory running his fingers through his hair in an unpurposeful seductive way while asking in a deep magnetic voice, "Why did you take ti to accept my video request?"
Wen Qinxi pursed his lips with a shy smile averting his gaze thinking, 'So fuckin hot.'
He only turned his gaze back to Qie Ranzhe when he found out the guy was silent waiting for an answer. "Oh, sorry...
I was dealing with a rodent issue in the vents," he replied trying to calm his palpitating heart.
His response had the Marshal creasing his brows in confusion. Rodents in Valim was a rare occurrence unless if it was a pet so why would Zhao Xieshu be having this problem. Finding his answer suspect he asked, "Where are you now? I will co pick you up and we can have lunch together," pacing towards a secluded section as Machu was distracting him with his slackjawed expression. He had overheard the Marshal's conversation receiving a shock of a lifeti. The Marshal actually had an affectionate side and he was showing it towards Zhao Xieshu of all people.
When he heard about the upcoming engagent ceremony he thought Qie Ranzhe had been forced into it as it wasn't a secret that his friend slash boss didn't like Zhao Xieshu much. But according to that conversation not only was he willing he was even force feeding the single bystander dog food. Machu could even go as far as saying the Marshal was a whipped boyfriend, head of heels with the party freak oga.
