The audience originally thought this new player was both pressing his ear against the door to listen and looking serious because he knew there was so important but dangerous clue inside the master bedroom, making him hesitate here. They never expected he couldn't even open the door in the end.

Unable to see the live stream comnts, Xu Xi naturally didn't feel embarrassed. He was now standing in front of the bathroom door. After ntally preparing himself, he slowly pushed the door open. The inside was just as clean as the kitchen, as if it had been specially cleaned.

Xu Xi didn't dare to walk in, afraid that the mont he stepped inside, the door would slam shut behind him, and a ghostly face or hand would suddenly erge from the mirror or toilet to ambush him.

Standing at the doorway, he carefully scanned the interior but found nothing obviously abnormal.

Just as he was struggling with whether to go in for a closer look, a sudden flash of inspiration struck him, reminding him of the knocking sound he heard before his last death.

That knocking sound hadn't occurred during the previous two deaths!

Compared to the unknown bathroom, this was a known new clue!

Xu Xi's eyes lit up, and he felt sowhat annoyed for a mont. How could he have forgotten about it!

He then began trying hard to recall the trigger for that knocking sound.

He rembered that after overturning the coffee table, he went to throw the cushion from the sofa and seed to have touched the remote control, accidentally turning on the television.

He had been furious at the ti and didn't pay much attention to the screen, only rembering that it seed to be a cartoon. Then the knocking sound started, which was why he went to open the door and ultimately ran out to be devoured by the darkness.

So the trigger for the knocking sound was likely after the television was turned on!

Xu Xi imdiately turned around and hurried straight to the living room. Not hearing any unusual sounds from the ceiling fan, he occasionally looked up to check if the fan was loose while quickly retrieving the remote control from behind the sofa cushion.

Holding the remote control, he stepped back a few paces to ensure that even if the ceiling fan suddenly fell, it wouldn't hit him. Then he used the remote to turn on the television not far away.

The television screen flickered a couple of tis, and sure enough, a cartoon soon began playing on the screen.

Xu Xi watched for a long ti but still couldn't understand it, so he reluctantly gave up.

Even if there were clues hidden in the cartoon, they were beyond his reach. He genuinely couldn't understand it.

At the very least, he didn't comprehend how the knight went from slaying the dragon to save the princess one second, to jumping to a superpowered dog needing to save the world the next second.

It seed like many fairy tales were mashed together in this cartoon, ssy and disjointed.

But fortunately, he didn't have to wait long before the knocking sound arrived as expected.

Just as he was approaching, the knocking sound grew clearer.

Xu Xi knew that rely opening the door wasn't dangerous, so he unhesitatingly opened the main door.

The live stream comnts, however, couldn't accept this, with everyone starting to scream and shout.

After the door was opened, a casual conversation-like dialogue slowly began.

As soon as the words fell, outside fell into silence.

After waiting for a while and hearing no follow-up, and feeling a chill beginning to seep into the room from outside, Xu Xi quickly closed the door again.

Unlike the live stream audience who lacked other clues, Xu Xi, who had died several tis, imdiately thought of the eerie scribbled drawing under the pillow in the children's bedroom after hearing this conversation.

He strode towards the guest bedroom, wanting to retrieve that drawing. However, the mont he pushed open the guest bedroom door, he felt an overwhelming weakness surge through his body, and then imdiately lost consciousness.
