Aena nodded with a knowing smile. "In theory, yes, he can, master. In hell, the weak die as soon as they are born. Only the toughest survive, and Milo is no exception." She glanced at the tiny, fluttering demon who was still circling excitedly around Canna. "Though, I should probably ntion that Milo used to be my previous master's footrest."
Canna paused, his mind struggling to process what he had just heard. "Wait, did you just say... footrest?" He looked down at the chubby, overly adorable demon in front of him, a creature whose mana core harvesting abilities could reshape entire battlefields. This thing... was used as a footrest?
Aena nodded, seemingly unfazed. "Milo is quite warm, master. He's like a heated pillow of sorts. It's actually one of his more... subtle skills. Despite his power, he's quite comforting to have around." Her tone was casual, as if using a Demon Duke as a piece of furniture was perfectly normal.
Canna blinked, still in disbelief. A creature so deadly, so impossibly powerful, had once been nothing more than a footrest. It seed absurd—no, insane—that sothing like Milo, who could consu kingdoms, was reduced to a re cushion.
Shaking his head, Canna turned back to Aena. "Alright," he said, his curiosity piqued once again. "What about you? Can I see your stats?"
Aena's expression softened, and she bowed her head with a touch of reverence. "Of course, master. I owe you my life, my strength, everything. Whatever you wish of , I shall do."
Canna felt a lump form in his throat. There was sothing unnervingly calm about how she said that. He swallowed hard and summoned her stats, his eyes scanning the page—and suddenly, his breath caught in his chest.

Canna stared at the stats page, his mind going completely blank for a mont.
Level 1201
? A
Pseudo Archdemon
? His breath beca shallow, his heart pounding in his chest as his eyes darted over the numbers again.
Millions of MP
,
insane Intelligence
—what kind of
monster
had he summoned?
He couldn't move. His mind was stuck in a loop, repeating the sheer
absurdity
of her stats over and over. His thoughts raced. He had summoned
her
—and she served
him
?
Canna's hands trembled slightly as he closed the stats screen, his mouth dry. "This can't be real…" he muttered under his breath. But it was. He could feel the weight of her power in the air, the way her very presence seed to bend reality around her.
Aena, as if sensing his turmoil, stepped forward. Her hand lifted gently, cupping his chin as she tilted his face up to et her gaze. Her touch was cool but reassuring, and her crimson eyes held a quiet calmness within them.
"Master," she said softly, her voice smooth and comforting. "There's no need to be overwheld. I exist to serve you. Everything I have is now yours."
Canna's throat felt tight. How could he have summoned sothing so utterly,
outrageously powerful
? A demon with stats that could level nations, and a mind capable of outwitting entire armies, was standing here—
swearing loyalty
to him.
Aena smiled softly as if sensing his disbelief. "It may seem like a lot to take in, master, but trust in your strength. You've already surpassed most beings in the realm. My power is at your command. I will ensure your rise, no matter the enemy or obstacle."
Canna swallowed hard, forcing a shaky laugh. "I think I just summoned the end of the world."
A loud thud then echoed through the room, the sound reverberating like a hamr striking stone. Each step was deliberate, slow, and powerful, like the march of a great beast. The air seed to thicken as the presence drew closer, carrying with it a subtle aura of molten heat.
Soon, the figure of a male demon erged from the shadows, towering over everything else in the room. His form was massive and imposing, a mountain of muscle encased in obsidian-black armor that shimred faintly with the glow of molten energy seeping from the cracks. His broad shoulders and thick, jagged spikes protruding from his armor gave him the appearance of a walking fortress, his very presence exuding raw, primal power.
His horned helt frad his fearso visage, and from beneath it, two fiery red eyes blazed with intensity, as though they were fueled by the fires of the underworld itself. His wings, large and leathery, stretched out behind him like the shadows of a great beast, their span so wide they nearly touched the walls. Every step he took left scorch marks on the floor, as if his very being radiated an imnse heat that the ground could not withstand.
The demon walked with purpose, and as he neared Canna, he dropped to one knee, his head bowed in deep respect. "I'm glad you are awake, master," the demon rumbled, his voice deep and gravelly, like the grinding of boulders. "I have stood to protect your base in your absence. Is there anything else you wish of to do?"
Canna glanced at Aena, uncertainty flickering in his eyes. He had just woken up, and already, these powerful beings were swearing their allegiance to him. Aena chuckled softly at his hesitation and walked over to the kneeling demon, gently taking Milo from Canna's hands.
"Master, we are the demons bound by your contract," she said smoothly, as Milo fluttered lazily in her grasp. "Our strength belongs to you alone."
Canna let out a deep sigh, rubbing the back of his neck as he processed the whirlwind of events. Outrageous things were happening left and right. Not only had he undergone a race change from Dragonkin to Demon Dragonkin, but now, he had gained incredibly powerful subordinates.
"I'm guessing you need a na too, right?" Canna asked, already resigned to the fact that this was his new reality.
The male demon nodded, his fiery gaze still focused on the ground. "Yes, master."
