"Young Master!"
Lillian’s face lit up with joy when she saw Fenric rushing toward her.
"Lillian, don’t be afraid. I’m here."
As soon as he spoke, the Black Blade Shusui appeared in Fenric’s hand. Instantly, Armant Haki cloaked his body like a black fla.
With the power of a raging beast, Fenric charged, cutting down the monstrous creatures that surrounded them.
At the sa ti, several flying blades shot from Fenric’s side like bullets, slicing through the ghostly horde.
"Puff! Puff! Puff!"
Screams echoed through the night as countless demons and monsters fell, unable to withstand Fenric’s full assault.
Under the cover of the Night Demon Cloak, none of them could hide from his relentless attacks.
"Slash!"
With one swing, the Black Blade Shusui cleaved a towering monster clean in half.
Elsewhere, a ghostly figure lunged forward, spear aid straight at Fenric’s chest—only for the tip to snap on impact, as if striking indestructible tal.
These low-level demons were utterly powerless before him.
"Vajra defence? Not bad."
Chixia’s voice ca from behind, his tone filled with awe.
Fenric’s display left him speechless. Whether it was his Telekinesis power, his mastery of Armant Haki, or his sheer physical strength—Fenric was like a one-man army.
If Fenric claid to be a god descended from the heavens, Chixia would believe him without hesitation.
Fenric didn’t reply. He was fully imrsed in the thrill of harvesting souls.
"You killed an evil creature and gained 160 Yin Qi. Current task progress: 160/1500."
"You killed an evil creature and gained 300 Yin Qi. Current task progress: 460/1500."
"You killed an evil creature and gained 220 Yin Qi. Current task progress: 680/1500."
In less than three minutes, Fenric had slaughtered the entire "welcoming committee."
Chixia had watched the whole thing, but never found an opening to step in.
Fenric’s task progress had already skyrocketed past 5,000.
"Lillian, are you hurt?" Fenric asked.
"I’m fine, young master!" she replied joyfully.
"Good."
Suddenly, the ground began to tremble violently.
"Who dares cause havoc here?!"
A deafening roar tore through the air like a hurricane.
Lillian’s joy instantly turned to fear. Her face went pale, while Chixia’s expression darkened. Even Fenric grew solemn.
He could feel it—the suffocating pressure in the air.
The Black Mountain Demon had spoken.
A being who had lived for thousands of years—just his voice alone carried overwhelming might.
There was no doubt: this demon was far beyond the A-rank threshold.
But Fenric... wasn’t afraid.
He had Thor’s Hamr.
And thunder was the bane of monsters.
Not only that—he still had several special artifacts hidden on his body.
Even if the Black Mountain Demon was vastly stronger, Fenric was ready for battle.
"Beardy, take Lillian and fall back! I might accidentally hurt you during the fight."
As he spoke, Fenric pulled out the Bodhi Rosary and hung it around his neck—warding against soul attacks from the Old Demon.
Then he swapped out the Black Blade Shusui for Thor’s Hamr.
Seeing the Mjölnir-like hamr, Chixia’s eyes widened. "Can you really handle this alone?"
"No problem!"
As Fenric raised the hamr high—
"BOOM—!"
Dark clouds rolled in.
In seconds, the already gloomy underworld beca even darker.
Seeing this, Chixia and Lillian imdiately ran far to the side.
The last ti Fenric wielded Thor’s Hamr, its power had left them shaken.
"BOOM—! BOOM—! BOOM—!"
Suddenly, the sound of countless footsteps and horses’ hooves echoed across the ground.
Monts later—
An army of ghosts and monsters appeared before Fenric.
Tens of thousands of them, clad in ancient armor, stretched across the landscape like a black tide.
Chixia gasped.
No wonder the Black Mountain Demon was so arrogant. This army alone was terrifying!
But Fenric’s reaction was the opposite.
Points—a mountain of points!
To him, this wasn’t a threat. It was a treasure trove!
If he wiped out the army, the Yin Qi he’d gain would surely earn him a Super God evaluation!
"Attack!!"
One ghost general raised his sword and bellowed the command.
With a roar, the monstrous horde charged.
Fenric simply scoffed.
In the next instant—
Conqueror’s Haki — unleashed!
A crushing aura burst from him like a tidal wave.
It was as if an ancient king had descended.
Even Chixia and Lillian behind him felt the urge to kneel.
"Fwoosh!"
The sheer pressure from his Conqueror Haki ford a visible storm that swept over the enemy ranks.
"Thud! Thud!"
Thousands of monsters collapsed, unconscious before they even reached him.
Of course, they weren’t dead.
Fenric still needed to "deliver the final blow" to claim his points.
Only a handful of powerful enemies remained standing—ghost generals and elite monsters.
All of them stared at Fenric in terror.
Chixia was dumbfounded.
He must be a god!
What else could explain such divine pressure? Just his aura alone had felled thousands.
"Who... who are you?"
A voice echoed from the shadows—cold and bewildered.
The Black Mountain Demon had finally spoken, stunned by what he had just witnessed.
"The one who’s here to take your life!"
Fenric replied coldly, raising Thor’s Hamr.
"BOOM—!"
A lightning bolt tore through the sky and slamd into the ghost general.
"AAAHH!!"
The general barely managed a scream before being obliterated—his body turned to ash in an instant.
Thunder—the ultimate nesis of monsters and ghosts!
"Impossible!"
The Black Mountain Demon’s voice rang out in disbelief. "This is the underworld! How can you summon thunder here?!"
Fenric didn’t answer.
He simply raised his hamr again and began bombarding the fallen army with lightning.
Each strike brought him closer to his mission’s completion.
"BOOM—! BOOM—! BOOM—!"
Thunder and lightning rained down like divine punishnt.
In re monts, the battlefield had beco a hellish Purgatory of Thunder.
