Once the spacecraft started moving, Drake’s expression imdiately changed.
His Riot form erupted, transforming his arms into long, deadly blades that slashed straight at Fenric’s neck.
Clang!
A tallic crash rang out.
The sharp Riot blades shattered in mid-air and fell uselessly to the ground.
Startled, Riot quickly looked at Fenric—only to see a black-bladed sword had sohow appeared in Fenric’s hand without warning. The blade was ink-black, etched with intricate patterns, its edge gleaming coldly. It radiated a lethal sharpness.
The weapons Riot conjured were comparable to high-grade steel, yet they had been easily broken by this sword. The blade hadn’t even dulled.
In that mont, Riot’s evaluation of Fenric’s threat level soared again.
Fenric sheathed the sword calmly and said, "Boss, I told you—I have no hostile intent. The real threat today is Venom. He’s on his way here right now, planning to betray you and destroy the ship."
Hearing that, Riot turned and looked outside. Sure enough, Venom was charging toward the spacecraft at full speed.
"Traitor!!" Riot growled with fury.
Without hesitation, he smashed through the control room wall and dashed toward Venom.
He wanted off this planet—and he’d make sure Venom didn’t stop that.
Fenric smirked and left the control room casually.
He didn’t chase after Venom. In his opinion, Riot was strong enough to handle the threat on his own.
In the original story, Venom was thoroughly beaten by Riot.
If it hadn’t been for the trick that blew up the ship, Venom would never have won.
A mont later, Fenric arrived at the truck.
"Great God??"
A blonde woman looked at him warily.
"It’s ," Fenric replied, then glanced at the truck’s cargo.
The truck bed was packed full of missile warheads. Fenric nodded approvingly.
"Nice work. Let’s move this stuff into the ship, fast."
Weapons of mass destruction like missiles were banned in most countries, and yet Belle had managed to gather so many of them in such a short ti. Her resourcefulness was impressive.
Even better—she had also brought incendiary bombs.
Soon after, with Fenric’s help, all the weapons were loaded onto the spacecraft in under a minute, including a large missile launcher and several smaller portable units.
Seeing Riot still locked in combat with Venom, Fenric grabbed an incendiary bomb and turned to Belle.
"You get on board and wait for . I’ll be right behind you."
Without another word, he rushed toward the battling symbiotes.
He had no intention of letting the original story repeat itself. This ti, he’d personally eliminate Venom.
"Boss, need a hand?" Fenric asked as he arrived.
At that mont, Riot was completely dominating the fight. Venom, bruised and battered, sneered as Fenric appeared.
"Oh? Riot, this your backup? What a joke!"
Riot growled and snapped, "Stay out of it!"
Fenric shook his head and unsheathed his black blade, Shusui.
"Boss, we don’t have ti. Let finish this."
Without waiting for a response, Fenric charged straight at Venom, swinging his blade in a clean arc.
Riot, knowing just how powerful the blade was, imdiately leaped back in alarm.
Venom, however, underestimated Fenric. He laughed and threw a punch at Fenric’s face, not even bothering to dodge.
Splat!
The next mont, Venom’s body was cleaved in two. His upper half flew through the air, cleanly sliced at the waist.
"W-What the hell?! Who is this guy?!"
Despite the blow, Venom wasn’t dead. Symbiotes had incredible vitality, and few things could kill them outright—except fire.
Venom’s upper half began crawling toward the lower half, desperate to reattach. Eddie, the host, wouldn’t last long without him.
Fenric calmly activated the incendiary bomb in his hand—and tossed it right onto Venom.
BOOM!
The explosion lit the area in flas.
"ARGHHH!"
Venom’s pained screams echoed as his black mass writhed and shifted grotesquely in the fire.
Eventually, he detached from Eddie entirely, becoming a ball of flaming goo that hurled itself at Fenric in one last suicidal attack.
But Fenric simply smiled.
He activated his psychic power—and stopped Venom’s charge midair with ease.
Honestly, if Fenric had used the enchanted whistle or the flathrower he possessed, the battle would’ve ended even faster. But both were one-ti, ti-limited tools—and he preferred to save them for ergencies.
"Boss, we’re done here. Let’s go."
Without looking back, Fenric turned and walked away. He was sure Venom was dead—because just then, the system prompt appeared:
You killed a symbiote and completed the main mission.
1
You may choose to return imdiately or stay in this world.
Note: Maximum remaining ti is 30 days.
Fenric’s eyes lit up.
Thirty days?
The system was clearly allowing the Samsara player ti to continue exploring.
Fenric smiled at the opportunity.
Behind him, Riot stared in awe and fear.
Once aboard the spacecraft, Riot retracted his transformation, returning to Drake’s human form.
Fenric waved to Belle Morwyn and introduced them with a grin.
"This is my boss—Drake."
Then he glanced at her. "And this is my friend. Wait... what’s your current na again?"
"Jessica!" Belle Morwyn replied with a smile.
BOOM!
Right then, the countdown reached zero.
The spacecraft launched, rocketing into space.
Fenric suddenly thought of sothing and turned to Drake.
"Boss, do you know how to get to the symbiote howorld? Don’t tell this is so long-haul trip that’ll take decades."
"!!"
Belle’s eyes widened in shock.
He wants to go slaughter an entire symbiote planet?!
This man really was a monster!
Drake, however, answered coldly, "There’s a space node ahead. We can use it to warp there instantly."
Fenric relaxed. "Perfect."
He didn’t mind Drake’s aloofness.
Now that they were in space, Drake wouldn’t dare act against him.
After all, if the ship was damaged... none of them would survive.
