Just before Lucas could see it, the Feathered Serpent in her human form appeared before him with a violent, huge white feather in her hands. She shot it with the shadow barrier Lucas had, and a clash between the two forces occurred. Lucas’s face wrinkled in frustration as he endured the force that was destroying his barrier.

He hissed, then moved back to disconnect from the force the Feathered Serpent was sending at him. However, she followed him, creating another huge impact on his barrier.

"You are really not interested, I can see that... But as both powerful beings, let us be rational, huh. Let’s talk in a calm situation."

"Calm? Do you think I can still be calm about how arrogant you were? No! Stop underestimating my existence, human! I will end your life here and kill everyone in this world!"

"That’s a big proclamation. Let us see if you can do that." Lucas chuckled, then stepped back from the barrier. He then continued by creating a light ball, huge as a fist, erased the barrier after he launched it in the direction where the Feathered Serpent was.

The Feathered Serpent’s eyes widened as she saw a bright light and a violent one as well. She twisted her body as she jumped high, evading the incoming light balls. However, Lucas sent another one, and another one, making her dance in the midair as she attempted to dodge each one.

’Those are strong forces. Those light balls are not to be joked about; I have to dodge each one if I want to stay longer.’ The Feathered Serpent thought, she knew deep in her mind that Lucas was strong, but the determination she had and the pride she had in her existence was making her fight him.

"I comnd that you are really strong." The Feathered Serpent remarked as she was still twisting her body in mid-air, then continued. "But this is not enough to make fall and be your ally!"

"I know."

The Feathered Serpent then covered her body with feathers, then dashed to the walls of the cave, using the air as her foothold. She stayed stuck on the wall and darted her eyes at Lucas. She hissed before a white fla appeared in her slender arms.

The flas started to reduce the air in the surrounding, making Lucas’s light balls move slowly toward her.

"How is this possible?" Lucas mumbled.

As the white fla beca bigger, Lucas started to move backward, reaching the entrance of the cave afterward. He proceeded with exiting the cave and then covered himself with whips of darkness that had a vicious aura and intent. Each hit on the cented floor near the pavilion created a huge explosion of destruction. It was a storm of darkness that was destroying everything it hit.

The Feathered Serpent went out of the cave and walked gracefully with her wide grin. She was delighted that space was now present. Although she felt nostalgic, she had no ti to recall everything from the past. Her goal now was to destroy Lucas, who was underestimating her existence as a divine beast.

"Die for !" She shouted as a net of white flas was created. It was heavy as the heat of it slowly reaching the ground shook it.

The shadow whips that were covering Lucas clashed with the white fla nets, but in the end, his shadow whips were destroyed. Lucas smirked, then darted his gaze to the Feathered Serpent, who had vanished in her previous location, and was now standing behind Lucas, her hands covered in sharp Qi.

Lucas widened his eyes in surprise. Just as the Feathered Serpent launched that attack, Lucas had already dodged a few inches apart from the sharp killing intent covering her hands. A chaotic Qi was then seen in her hands.

’I still don’t know how powerful she was, but I don’t have the ti to see each of her techniques. I have to end this imdiately and have a sincere talk with her.’

On the other hand, the Feathered Serpent was thinking the sa but with a different motive as she badly wanted to kill Lucas. And as the white fla nets caught Lucas’s upper guard, she smirked, then dashed to him again with each of her hands sharpened by her Qi. With his martial arts, Lucas dodged and blocked each attack until the white fla nets covered him. The Feathered Serpent moved back with a satisfied smile, watching Lucas being eaten by her own flas.

She didn’t end it there. She created another white fla, but now stronger than before. It was fiercer than earlier as it created a huge crater on the ground. It dug deeper than before, and as the Feathered Serpent realized the ground was collapsing around her, she compressed her Qi around her body and flew, destroying everything below with her power.

"That was easy... Humans are indeed arrogant just because they can cultivate. They almost forgot that divine beasts are more powerful than them... What a fool."

The Feathered Serpent expanded her senses, trying to see through her white flas if Lucas was still alive, but she sensed no Lucas, which made her laugh as she turned her back.

"Now, I will kill all humans in this world. How dare they make angry... The divine beasts as well, who were idiots that followed humans’ intentions... They fought each other... I will kill them."

"Before you kill them, make sure that you have killed first."

The Feathered Serpent’s pupils dilated as she looked back where she killed Lucas, but to her surprise, white flas disappeared, and before her, Lucas was floating with a victor’s smile.

"H-How...?" She pondered deeply but shook her head afterward. "Never mind. I am sure that your Qi depleted after surviving that. Let’s see if you can survive again."

"Oh no... That won’t happen. You have to taste your own dicine."

"What?" She was discombobulated as she saw Lucas’s grin widely. Above her, a vortex appeared, and just a split a second later, white flas rushed down at her.

’T-This is my flas? How did he-!’

Lucas was still smiling as he pronounced, "Release!"

The vortex beca wide and the Feathered Serpent greeted her own white flas that were now more violent and hostile against her. The white flas were also embedded with Lucas’s shadows, which she was confused about as she caught it and blocked it with all of her might.

A huge white feather, the sa size as her, appeared to block the falling white flas, but, for so confusing reason, it was stronger than her attack earlier.

"This isn’t my fla anymore!"

"Indeed... That isn’t your fla anymore since it passed through my dinsional field."

"How is this possible!?"

The Feathered Serpent gritted her teeth as she endured the rushing force and heat from the white flas that Lucas released. Lucas then recalled everything he did when he faced the white flas and nets that she created to kill him. It was devastating and heavy for him, as his barriers weren’t enough to block it. He couldn’t also dodge it imdiately as chaotic Qi was hijacking his Magique Qi that he was using to strengthen his limbs. He could only absorb it with his spatial affinity and then redirect it to different locations, which was beneficial because it also had a higher success rate.

Now, just as after redirecting the direction of the flas, he fully absorbed it and passed through the dinsion he created with spatial affinity. Afterward, he used the gap that was created to fly and face where the Feathered Serpent was floating.

"Do you think that I will just leave you like that? I won’t let you rest until you surrender." Lucas shouted, which made the Feathered Serpent agitated as she knew that only one side of her was protected, and it was from the storming white flas that she couldn’t be lenient about. She had to focus on one thing, but Lucas was threatening another side of her.

Lucas smirked as he launched a huge shadow beam and a light beam at her. It was so huge and disastrous that its speed was already creating a storm of chaotic Qi, which was pulled as well.

"Fuck!"

As the Feathered Serpent was facing threats from two sides, Lucas didn’t stop with that simple beam of his affinities. He created a shadow prison, just around the Feathered Serpent.

"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! I will kill you, human!"

Lucas chuckled as he watched the Feathered Serpent fall down, losing all of her energy from the unending strong force that he sent to her. And having no energy to get her balance back, she could only clench her teeth as she felt her body hit the ground. Lucas followed and landed before her.

’All of my attacks exhausted her... I guess the Qi that she put in those white flas to kill was half of everything she got. She didn’t underestimate until the end... She knew how strong I was, but still fought for her pride, even with words...’

Lucas sighed with satisfaction, then lowered his stance, leveling with the Feathered Serpent’s. He smiled, then asked her, "Now, will this be enough to make you my ally? I will be clear now. Just listen to . I was given a legacy to own every continent, and I will be the ambassador of the Mortal Heaven. If you want to, I can help you ascend... I know that you hate humans because of the previous Great World War. I may not know how it ended or how it started for you, but I can lend an ear to your story."

The Feather Serpent was just silent... The previous fair skin was now covered with dirt, and the fairy face she had was wrinkling as anger filled her whole system.

"I will kill you," she said, pressing each word as she proclaid.

"No... that won’t happen, since you will follow ."
