Avion was in no doubt, talented. It was just that, being alone his whole life makes him dense or even blind to so things.
He needed his training. However, it would show his real strength to Darea. The best that he can do was to ditate. Plan about everything ahead, beco a pacifist to avoid danger. and rest whenever he wanted to.
In this way, Avion could bla it to his "mysteriousness" on why he does things.
