Chapter 404: Chapter 391: A Woman Who Overestimates Her Own Abilities (2nd Release)

At this mont standing in front of Zhao Mingwei was… Yelena, a Yelena drenched in copious amounts of blood.

This Yelena approached Zhao Mingwei with a face full of horror and unease.

“Master… where did you go?” Her voice was filled with sobbing as she moved towards Zhao Mingwei, seemingly seeking his embrace.

“I went nowhere, I’ve been right here.”

Zhao Mingwei also moved towards Yelena, while Lu Wei outside the door was screaming frantically, but Zhao Mingwei could no longer hear anything.

Just as this Yelena was about to touch Zhao Mingwei… Lion Roar!

Zhao Mingwei, without even a mont’s hesitation, unleashed a Lion Roar right before she could react.

A brief mont of dizziness affected this Yelena, followed by a roaring howl of the Dragon and Tiger, and Zhao Mingwei punched her hard in the abdon… This strike was just the beginning.

Zhao Mingwei imdiately executed a series of swift and fierce combinations on this Yelena, then finished with a back throw, slamming her hard onto the ground.

Just as Zhao Mingwei was tearing at this Yelena’s arm, ready to continue with a punch to her face, this badly wounded Yelena suddenly transford into Fureya’s appearance.

It was still Fureya in her usual attire…

“Holy Spirit, don’t you recognize ?” Fureya asked with a pained voice.

“I do.”

Zhao Mingwei quickly responded before unleashing Dragon and Tiger Roar from his fist, tearing viciously into this Fureya’s face with its gaping maw.

The mont he felt this Fureya try to counterattack, he grabbed her by the collar and kicked her in the abdon, this kick was fortified with the triple skills of Dragon and Tiger Roar, Eagle Stomp, and Tornado Kick.

In an instant, Fureya was kicked flying by Zhao Mingwei, her body smashed harshly against the room’s wall, creating nurous cracks, and she slid to the ground as he released the forceful Tiger Tremor.

A golden tiger ford from psychic energy pounced towards Fureya lying by the wall… as the tiger exploded, Fureya let out a tragic scream, her entire body charred by the psychic flas and fell to the ground.

Zhao Mingwei still in a combat-ready stance, looked coldly at this severely injured Fureya and said in a low, icy tone…

“My heart has no weaknesses!”

However, the mont these words left Zhao Mingwei’s lips, he suddenly heard a ding by his ear.

“Ding, custor in zone C, seat number 43, your session ti is down to ten minutes. Please contact the network manager to recharge, or you will be forcefully logged off.”

The mont Zhao Mingwei heard this alert, he was startled nearly jumping and rolling onto the floor.

But this mont of hesitation gave the charred Fureya on the ground an opportunity, and suddenly a mass of dark tentacles shot out from behind her, striking at Zhao Mingwei.

A tentacle grazed Zhao Mingwei’s cheek, and in an instant, his health decreased by one-third.

But Zhao Mingwei quickly recovered from the fear of logging off.

He imdiately lowered his body… not trying to dodge the tentacles but charging directly towards the deford Fureya.

To Lu Wei outside, it looked like Zhao Mingwei was dancing, a lethal close dance with those dark tentacles, evading their attacks in less than two seconds.

In an instant, Zhao Mingwei stood right in front of the deford Fureya, his index finger pressed against her deford forehead.

“My apprentice and Fureya are not as ugly as you,” Zhao Mingwei said, as a powerful telekinesis burst forth from the tip of his index finger, forming a destructive vortex.

Spiral Telekinesis Field!

The deford Fureya was sucked into it and finally turned into a pile of flesh that fell to the ground.

“S.H.I.T! We can finally get in! What’s the deal with this monster? Isn’t she supposed to be our resurrection nun?” Lu Wei entered the room at that mont.

“Mr. Yin said there is a special monster in this castle that transforms into whatever we fear most. Go and regroup with the others; it seems we can’t kill this special monster. We can only make it temporarily inactive.”

Zhao Mingwei glanced at the monster lying on the ground, turned into a pile of flesh. Its health was at a minimum of 1 point, and it couldn’t be completely killed but could regenerate health quite swiftly.

During the ti Zhao Mingwei and Lu Wei talked, its health had already recovered thirty-four points.

Zhao Mingwei and Lu Wei ran out of the room to the corridor, but before they could get far, they saw a figure at the end of the hallway… a figure both familiar and strange to Zhao Mingwei.

It was his own attire from a role nad Laughter in a previous conflict, the outfit he wore during the world competition two years ago, the most flamboyant part was… the character even replicated the graphics from the conflict.

The graphics in Conflict were actually quite good, but when compared to Holy Spirit, they looked a bit… pixelated.

“How does Holy Spirit determine what I’m afraid of? Can it read minds?”

When Lu Wei saw Laughter at the end of the hallway, she instantly understood that it was her nightmare – Zhao Mingwei from the semi-finals of the Conflict world championship two years ago.

The semi-finals were nearly won by the Titans team when the reigning team, at the last mont, played their veteran card, Zhao Mingwei, who ferociously helped the reigning team reach the finals.

Ever since then, Lu Wei felt… furiously angry every ti she rembered that scene.

“Never mind! Using your Chinese saying, I just want to get my revenge! I’ll handle this guy! Laughter, go find the others!” Lu Wei’s hands brimd with a bunch of dynamite.

Zhao Mingwei knew that trying to persuade her was useless, and right now, Lu Wei’s live stream must be completely blowing up.

Because the arrangent of this monster in Holy Spirit was too bizarre — Yelena and Fureya were okay, but bringing in a well-known character from Conflict next door was a bit too much, and in the original style too, with a completely different artistic vibe!

But Zhao Mingwei couldn’t worry about that now, all he could say was Holy Spirit was aweso.

Looking at the team status bar, the health of the other fourteen players and Wenna were generally good, no! Free Milk No Charge’s health was rapidly depleting.

Where is Free Milk No Charge?

Zhao Mingwei looked around. The castle didn’t allow the use of mini-maps. Team mbers could only communicate via voice. Zhao Mingwei imdiately opened Free Milk No Charge’s live streaming channel.

He found that her live stream displayed ‘Live Stream Ended.’

No! Free Milk No Charge had her live stream on throughout this decapitation mission, but why would it be turned off now?

“Is Free Milk No Charge on voice?” Zhao Mingwei asked through the voice chat but didn’t hear Free Milk No Charge’s voice; however, he got a response from Jiang Qiao.

“Laughter, you go check the others. Our aim is to clear the instance. If necessary, sacrificing one or two team mbers isn’t a problem since everyone can be resurrected in the ga,” Jiang Qiao said.

“Did you find a way to clear the instance, president?” Zhao Mingwei could hear that Jiang Qiao’s tone was sowhat different than usual.

“Still discussing with the old guys on the forum. You start a live stream too; it helps to confirm everyone’s location,” Jiang Qiao said.
