Immortal living pool…
The night sky above the sacred pool was utterly still, yet the water glowed as if reflecting stars from another world. At its very center, where a grand golden lotus with 1008 delicate leaflets blood in solemn majesty, Kent stood—his breathing calm, eyes reverent, posture firm as his right hand gently touched the translucent figure seated in a lotus position.
A mont later, the figure shimred like liquid crystal reacting to warmth. Her eyes opened slowly, revealing a vast depth—deep oceans of mory, ti, and ancient divinity flowing within. The face was ethereal, neither young nor old, neither mortal nor celestial, and when her gaze t Kent's, an unseen force pressed gently upon his soul.
He bowed instinctively, humbled by the pressure and majesty of the being before him. "Water Goddess," he whispered.
The figure offered a faint smile. "Kent Clark."
Kent's brows furrowed, surprise filling his expression. "How do you know my true na? No one in this world knows that."
"I am not a re illusion," she replied, her voice as fluid as the waves surrounding them, each syllable caressing his senses. "I am a consciousness fragnt of the Water Goddess herself. Each realm holds particles of divine beings. While so in lower reals may not possess awareness beyond their domain, we who exist on higher frequencies are connected. We see what others see, rember what they rember. Your soul and fate have been noted by higher beings."
Kent inhaled slowly. This revelation struck a chord deep within him. The various divine encounters he had experienced so far—were they all connected through the sa invisible thread?
"Then... does the Lust Goddess here also rember ?" he asked, eagerness slipping into his voice.
The water goddess closed her eyes briefly. "She does. Or at least, she must. But do not mistake the shared mories for shared emotions. We act on our own. She might completely ignore you like a stranger in this world."
Kent's expression shifted. "You an, she may not care about ?"
"Yes. Even though we share mories, thoughts and emotions are ours alone. In this realm, the Lust Goddess is vastly different from the one you previously encountered. Here, she is proud, unyielding, and incredibly powerful—almost an equal to the War God."
"Wait," Kent frowned again. "Isn't this world governed by the Three-Phased God? That was what I heard."
A gentle laugh echoed from the goddess, like droplets of rain dancing upon glass. "You are still within the Immortal World, Kent. The Three-Phased God rules the Heavenly Immortal Realm—above this one—and governs the Seven Worlds below. You have yet to ascend. Your journey is still young."
Kent opened his mouth to ask more, curiosity and a thousand questions pressing forward—but the water goddess raised a hand, stopping him.
"In ti, Kent Clark. All shall be revealed when you are ready. For now, your purpose lies here."
The lotus shimred again as if the pool recognized and accepted Kent's presence. The water goddess lifted her palm, and the very essence of the immortal living pool surged in response.
"You have mastered the Shadow Master Movent Technique," she declared. "A feat few have achieved within this realm. For this, I offer you a gift—though not without condition."
Kent looked up, his heart thumping. "I am listening."
"The technique is called 'Celestial Water Illusion'. It is an art of divine deception and overwhelming serenity. It turns your presence into an extension of the water itself—undetectable, untouchable, and ever-flowing. In battle, you will move like fog and strike like a tide. But—"
She paused, her gaze piercing.
"—in exchange, you must promise sothing."
Kent stepped forward solemnly. "Na it."
"Should you rise to godhood within this world, you will protect the Immortal Living Pool. You will guard it against corruption, against defilent by greed, politics, or dark cultivation. You will not let this sacred sanctuary fall like so many others have."
Kent lowered his head and placed his hand on his chest. "I vow on my na and fate, if I beco a god in this world, I shall protect the Immortal Living Pool till the stars die and rebirth begins anew."
The pool stirred in acknowledgnt. The petals of the grand lotus trembled lightly as glowing glyphs spread like veins across the surface. The goddess raised both hands and slowly brought them down—summoning a scroll of water-bound scripture hovering in the air. It floated toward Kent, and upon touching his chest, the scripture dissolved into silver mist and entered his spirit.
Kent's eyes widened as the knowledge of the Celestial Water Illusion technique etched itself into the depths of his soul.
The water goddess smiled gently. "Your path will be harsh, Kent Clark. Enemies will rise not just from the outside world, but from within. But the strength of water is its adaptability. Learn not just to cut, but to endure, not just to rise, but to flow."
Kent nodded, the glow of newfound resolve burning in his-eyes.
The goddess closed her eyes again, her form beginning to dissolve into light and water. As the ripples of her presence faded, Kent stood alone upon the central lotus, the sacred pool now still around him—but his soul now marked by sothing far greater.
The mont of awakening passed. The central lotus gently lowered, allowing Kent to step once again upon the waters. He turned back slowly, his mind already shifting toward what must co next. The arena. The Pri Disciple Competition. The future he had vowed to reach.
Yet sothing had changed. He was no longer just a candidate. He was a protector in the making.

The Immortal Living Pool Academy's Arena was overflowing with tension.
Thousands of disciples stood in rising tiers around the fighting grounds, their eyes wide with excitent, lips whispering bets and predictions. The grand coliseum-like structure echoed with murmurs, and spiritual screens floated in the air, projecting close-up views of the dueling ground for even the outermost spectators to see.
At the heart of the arena stood two figures, already facing each other.
On one side was Lady Mu Yang, the proud descendant of the Yang family and one of the most refined Water Immortal Wizards of her generation. Clad in flowing aqua-blue robes embroidered with silver fish scales, she stood calm and composed, her long black hair dancing in the breeze like water flowing down a mountain stream.
Opposing her was Yi Zhao, the fiery prodigy from Fire Sun Pavilion. His fiery-red robes shimred with glowing embers, and a blazing sun crest pulsed with magical heat on his chest. His sharp jawline and smirking face exuded confidence. Known for his Twin Sun rge Technique, he was feared for overpowering enemies in the blink of an eye with overwhelming fla pressure.
The ground master raised his hand. "Begin!"
A gong echoed through the arena.
In a flash, Yi Zhao stomped forward. With a sharp flick of his wrist, flaming twin wheels ford behind him and rotated wildly, drawing heat from the air. Fire erupted from beneath his feet, creating molten cracks across the stone ground.
But Lady Mu Yang didn't flinch. She closed her eyes and exhaled slowly, then whispered:
"Ocean Heart – First Layer: Gentle Stream Veil."
A translucent layer of water ford around her like a shimring barrier. As Yi Zhao charged, the twin wheels flung towards her, spinning with deadly force.
