THE MOLTEN GOLD CITY…
The two sisters, Kelly and Julia, stood in front of the grand estate of the Bai family. Their faces were pale, their clothes dusted from their journey, and their expressions marked with exhaustion.
They had been traveling nonstop, desperate to find Fatty Ben. After spending a large amount of spirit stones at a 5 star Wizard association Inn, they found that Fatty Ben was in Molten Gold City.
Now, after enquiring at the local inn's, they reached the Bai family estate.
The grand gate of the estate stood open, and the mont the patriarch of the Bai family learned that the two sisters belonged to the prestigious Ron family from the Heavenly Abode, he ca rushing out at great speed.
Behind him trailed several of his relatives and servants, all bowing respectfully to greet the esteed guests.
"Ladies of the Ron family, it is an honor to—" the patriarch began, but Kelly raised her hand, stopping him mid-sentence.
Her face was exhausted, eyes narrowed with purpose. "There is no need for honorary things, Patriarch Bai, We didn't co here for pleasantries." She said curtly.
The patriarch blinked, taken aback by her abruptness, but he quickly composed himself. "Of course, Lady Kelly. What can I do for you?"
Julia, the younger of the two, couldn't contain her frustration any longer. Her voice broke as she cried out, "We're looking for Fatty Ben! Where is he?"
The air grew tense as everyone present exchanged confused glances. The patriarch's expression shifted uneasily. He first thought the two girls might co to harm Fatty, his new son-in-law. But after rembering Fatty's cultivation, he let go of the thought.
The Bai family mbers stood still, not knowing how to respond. The silence stretched on until Kelly's voice cut through the tension. "You don't need to fear. We don't have any bad intentions. We ca to apologize to settle so previous feuds. Please speak, where is he?"
The patriarch's face tightened as he cleared his throat, glancing back toward his family mbers as if seeking so form of support. He took a deep breath and finally spoke.
"Madam Kelly, I regret to inform you that Master Ben has already left my residence." His voice was heavy with hesitation. "He left along with my daughter, i Bai."
Julia's face paled, and her fists clenched at her sides. "What?! How could he leave? We've been chasing after him for days! Ahhh…!!!" she cried out, her voice thick with frustration.
Before Julia could throw a tantrum, Kelly placed a firm hand on her sister's shoulder, stopping her. Turning back to the patriarch, she asked, "Where did they go, Patriarch Bai? You must know sothing."
The patriarch hesitated again, clearly conflicted about sharing the information. He glanced nervously at the other mbers of his family, all of whom were equally uncertain. But under Kelly's intense gaze, he finally relented.
"They left for the Heavenly Abode," he answered, his deep voice laced with resignation.
Julia's frustration grew to new heights after hearing that answer. They spent so much and traveled like beggars, just to find that Fattys is going to the sa place where they were living.
Kelly also sighed heavily. "At least now we know where he went," she muttered, rubbing her temples. She gave a nod to the patriarch, "Thank you for the information."
Without another word, Kelly grabbed Julia's hand and began to walk away from the Bai family estate, their heads held high despite their exhaustion. The Bai family mbers watched them leave, exchanging curious glances as they wondered why the prestigious Ron sisters had co all this way just to chase after soone like Fatty Ben.
