After so ti, the battlefield was drenched in blood, the bodies of fallen Space Pirates littering the ground like discarded trash.

The vice captains were dead, their lifeless forms crumpled in the dirt, and the remaining pirate crew mbers were left with only two choices—fight and die or try to escape and still die.

There was no rcy here.

The Xu Family Army moved with brutal efficiency, their formation tightening as they advanced in unison, cutting through the remaining crew mbers like scythes through a field of wheat.

Xu Qianghua stood still, his hands clasped behind his back as he watched the final slaughter unfold before him.

His golden robes, untouched by the blood and dirt of the battlefield, fluttered lightly in the wind.

A pirate let out a primal scream, raising his sword high in desperation. "I WILL NOT DIE HERE!" he bellowed, rushing at the nearest Xu Family soldier.

But he never reached the soldier.

A spear of condensed Qi pierced his chest, and he collapsed, his weapon clattering uselessly to the ground.

The Xu Family soldier who had killed him didn't even blink before turning to engage another enemy.

The rest of the pirates finally broke.

So tried to flee, their fear overriding their bloodlust. Others fought to the bitter end, screaming obscenities as they charged, knowing they had no chance but choosing to die with their weapons drawn.

Neither group survived.

The pirates who ran were hunted down before they could take ten steps. Those who fought were systematically cut down, their bodies hitting the ground one after another.

It was a massacre.

And yet, not a single Xu Family soldier fell.

These n and won were warriors of the highest caliber, their training honed to perfection.

Their movents were sharp, practiced, and rciless—this is because, in their minds, only victory is the truth, and nothing else matters.

And this has caused them to train as much as they can whenever they had the chance which made their overall strength and combat knowledge to soar over the years.

anwhile, as the last pirate fell, the battlefield finally fell silent.

A few seconds passed peacefully as everyone took in the bloodshed that the Xu family soldiers, whom they had rarely seen, had caused.

This alone made most of the people who were here to watch the World upgrade ceremony sigh from the bottom of their hearts at the ruthless ans that were used to take care of these attackers.

However, this did not cause any despair, fear, or panic. Instead, the majority felt a slight bit of relief and happiness.

Why?

They feel this way as all of them are from the central continent, which ans that they consider themselves as people under the Xuzhong Empire, which is part of the Xu family.

So, to see this kind of scene only reinforces their belief that they had made the right choice.

Then—

A deep tremor spread through the air.

The corpses of the pirates began to glow, their flesh lting into golden particles, sinking into the ground as the whole scene retired back to how it was before the invaders ca here.

The entire world seed to hush, as if sothing far greater than them had turned its gaze toward this battlefield.

The World's Will had begun its harvest.

Xu Qianghua watched as the bodies of the challengers were absorbed into the world, their very essence converted into pure energy.

The ground trembled as this energy pulsed outward, reinforcing the very foundation of Nexara itself.

This was why the World's Will created these trials.

It wasn't just a challenge.

It was a feeding chanism—a way for the world to consu foreign invaders, turning them into nourishnt to fuel its growth.

A deep, rumbling voice echoed across the land—the voice of the World's Will itself.

"THE CHALLENGERS HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED."

A heavy silence followed.

"THE WORLD HAS BEEN STRENGTHENED."

A golden light swept across the battlefield, washing over the Xu Family soldiers and every cultivator who had participated in the battle.

Xu Qianghua could feel it.

The very laws of the world shifted, reinforcing their connection to it.

And as the inhabitants of this planet, they all got rewards as their bodies absorbed the energy like a sponge soaking up water, refining their Qi, and strengthening their cores.

The Xu Family Army, already terrifyingly strong, beca even stronger.

Their cultivation surged, their very being becoming more in tune with the new, upgraded Nexara.

The other factions who had assisted in the battle—though few—also received their rewards.

Those who had managed to slay even a single pirate felt their cultivation rise, their ridians expanding to accommodate the boost in spiritual energy.

And then, a final decree from the World's Will:

"THE STRONGEST WILL ALWAYS RISE, WHILE THE WEAK WILL FALL."

With that, the presence vanished, leaving behind only an unchanged sky and an altered world.

The battle was over.

And Nexara had taken its first step toward its new destiny.

Xu Qianghua let out a slow breath, his golden eyes gazing at the empty battlefield.

It was done.

His forces had won.

And now, the real work began.

Aftermath

As the dust settled, the Xu Family soldiers stood in perfect formation, their weapons gleaming in the sunlight.

There were no cheers, no celebrations—only satisfaction in their discipline and performance.

The battlefield had been cleansed, not a single trace of the pirates remaining.

Yan Yuehua approached, her gaze sharp as she surveyed the area.

"We suffered no casualties," she reported. "Morale is high, and the energy surge from the World's Will has further refined the soldiers' foundations."

Xu Qianghua nodded, pleased. "Good."

From the corner of his eye, he saw the other families' representatives watching from the distance, their expressions unreadable.

They had seen everything.

They had witnessed the unparalleled might of the Xu Family—and they knew, without a doubt, that they would never surpass it.

Xu Qianghua smiled.

He knew that what he did today will cause many who were confident to surpass or even try to destroy his family to reconsider.

And this is sothing he would welco anyone to try but he does not want all of them to do it as this planet is huge, and due to the recent upgrade, the world has grown even bigger than before.

So, to him, the idea of destroying others who try to stand on the sa line is not sothing he would allow.
